Great Interior Design Outstanding Views Great Memories Were Made Here
House is nice. Has all the things you’d want. There was some cleaning that could have been done. Lots of dead bugs inside and carpets weren’t very clean. Outside could use some cobweb clean up and decluttering. The view is spectacular. And worth whatever else we had to deal with.
This house has a unique layout and beautiful views. There was a thunderstorm beyond the mountains one night and it was a magical sight while relaxing the deck. The house was comfortable and well appointed with plenty of books and games to unwind with.
Great location for going to Shenandoah National Park, loved the deck & views in the morning and evening. Upstairs living area also had great views. Had everything we needed. Only issue we had was no blinds/window coverings in bathrooms and downstairs bedrooms but we made do.
Although a short last minute getaway, the Roundhouse was an excellent trip for kids, adults and seniors. We had a bigger group and each person thoroughly enjoyed the space, view and unlimited activities in the rental and outside. The view was breathtaking in the morning and at sunset. We didnt even need to bring half of the items as the Roundhouse literally had everything one might need while on vacation. A much needed getaway and break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The round house was a nice place to stay. The view was beautiful, it felt very private, and the house was clean and well stocked. The location made it fairly easy to get into town or Shenandoah. The AC only cools upstairs so it would get a little stuffy in the two downstairs bedrooms even with the windows open. We were there in the middle of summer though.
The Round House is intriguing in itself - so many unusual details because of its shape! We absolutely loved the wrap-around deck!! Mornings with coffee and binoculars for bird watching were our norm. And it was firefly season - so we enjoyed watching them dance every evening in the dark. Shenandoah National Park is easy to get to from here - very helpful for day hikes! Overall, we enjoyed a relaxing time in the Virginia mountains! Thank you!!!
The round house is the perfect cabin getaway. The space was clean and comfortable. The view of the mountains is amazing both from the living room upstairs and the porch. The kitchen is well equipped and the gas grill is a great bonus. There are plenty of puzzles and games for friends and family to share. Though we only used one bedroom, they all seemed comfortable and clean. The tub in the primary bathroom was huge and my wife enjoyed relaxing in it with a glass of wine. Hope to come back in the future!
The location is great, the concept of the home and the deck are great, it was just a bit more run down than we expected. Some windows didn't work, burners on the stove were temperamental, and those downstairs did have to deal with bugs in the shower daily.
Cozy, well-equipped accomodation in an incredible setting, with beautiful views of the mountains and a gorgeous stream just a few feet off the house. A very fine selection of books and records add a delicate touch to the experience. Highly recommend.
The home had gorgeous views of the mountain. It was very comfortable - the bedrooms and common areas were well suited to a family. It was 10 minutes from the quaint little town of Luray, which had a few shops, good restaurants and access to the Luray caverns (a phenomenal way to spend our rainy last day). Also very close to the entrance to the national park. We would absolutely stay here again!
House was very unique and the space was amazing for kids and adults. Especially loved the upstairs bathroom and the creek nearby.
Very fun and full time with friends at a beautiful and private location. The house is quirky in all the right ways, it feels like somewhere you've never been before. The views were amazing from the porch, and we enjoyed hanging out and watching the World Cup by the wood stove. No issues with cooking items, and the house was very clean when we arrived. Definitely want to come back.
Simply stunning views, charming property, amazing for kids, convenient to the Park and town not too far
Great house, nice property. A/C doesn't reach the basement so can get pretty hot (though we were there when it was a high of 90 so this may not apply all the time).
We had a great time staying in this really cool round house for our anniversary. The annotated books on hikes were a big help and we spent most days exploring the park.
Enjoyed the location and atmosphere of cabin. Fridge AC and stove could be better.
Peaceful, quiet, felt like a bird sanctuary. Very unique layout. Indoors well maintained. Enjoyed our stay here.
For weeks we looked forward to our trip! Away from everything and an opportunity to unplug. When we arrived we couldn’t get in. We were given the wrong code and with poor cell service it took us a while, about 20 minutes to get the right code. My daughter took a shower and there was a centipede in the shower. She didn’t know where it was so when I went to bed for the night there was one in my room. Then I went to the bathroom there was one still in the shower. The downstairs furniture was very worn and more centipedes dead and alive. There was a $5 charge per bag of trash to be thrown out. I’d paying a cleaning fee shouldn’t the trash removal be included. When I took the linen off the bed the mattress cover has a huge stain on it. I pray it was just a stain. There were cob webs in the ceiling and we were afraid to turn on the ceiling fan because of all the dust. The cleaning fee really should be returned. The view was spectacular! Watching the sunset and the family time made all the other substandard issues almost worth it. All in all this was disappointing. That yurt has so much potential to be gorgeous inside and out. It’s not inexpensive to stay there just expected better.
We had a great time here with the kids! The views from the windows and deck are spectacular!
