Stayed Jul 10, 2023Came to the cabin with our daughter from San Diego and her 2 sons. We all thought the cabin was perfect. Views of Mt Rainier every day. Enjoyed the hot tub every night. There were plenty of towels. We saw a big elk wal by and linger. Lots of games, movies, nice tv. We had a talent show the last night!

Stayed Jul 13, 2023The cabin was great and had everything we needed for our stay. Be aware that due to road repairs the Stevens Canyon NPS entrance is only open on the weekends in 2023. It was a quick way to Mt. Rainier NP. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking.

Stayed Nov 20, 2022Was a very much needed time away from city, being able to celebrate a birthday and holiday in the same week. Great view of the mountains, easy access and private area for the hotub. With a fire going, we had a great week of relaxing. The grocery store is less than 5 minutes away, which made for easy in and out when needed.

Stayed Jul 18, 2022Our family of 6 adults fit comfortably. The decor is “Nordic cabin” and rustic. The house is clean. Beds were very comfortable and there were true beds for 6. We stayed in the summer and it was a great base for exploring Mount Ranier NP. There was a TV, board games and toys for little kids. The huge deck had a nice grill and an incredible view of Mount Ranier. There was no AC, but there were plentiful fans - if it gets hot that might be a problem for some but it cools off quickly in the mountains, and we weren’t uncomfortable. Structurally, the floor was significantly tilted. There was a very steep uneven gravel driveway that was a was a little sketchy with a loaded minivan. An SUV might climb it better. The power went out one night, and we had to manage our refrigerated food due to that. If you look at the power company website page that apparently occurs frequently in Packwood. It was a nice house but a little of an adventure, which was in keeping with our vacation.

Stayed Jul 1, 2022When you walk into this house and look out the back, you will be pleasantly surprised by the view of Mt. Ranier. We ate breakfast and dinner there everyday to enjoy the view. House was clean, bed was comfy and host was wonderful and quick to respond.
