This cozy, waterfront cabin is on the west side of the lake in the little community of Reeder Bay, about a mile from Elkins Resort. It is situated on a flat, level, east facing lot, with 50’ of gradually sloping, rocky beach. I suggest water shoes for wading. There are expansive views of Chimney Rock and the Selkirk Mtns. Bring your boat as there is a brand new, 40’ trex deck dock that doesn’t show up in the photos yet. The well maintained, 1000 sq ft cabin, is 2 bed / 1 bath, and there is an additional 1 bed / 1 bath unit in the shop behind the house. There is a “full” size mattress, and 4 “twin” size mattresses. Heat is provided by an electric fireplace and baseboards. There is a washer/dryer and a small dishwasher. The cabin is carpeted with an almost white, wall to wall carpet in nice shape, which will take a little extra effort ( like shoes off in the cabin) to avoid extra cleaning costs. Outside is a propane gas grill and an older Traeger, wood fired grill. There is a propane campfire pit in the front yard. There is a boat launch 100 yards up the road at Granite Creek Marina where you can launch for $10. 300 yards the other direction is a public boat launch, where you can launch for free, although there is no dock there. Priest Lake has multiple resorts with restaurants, small grocery stores, and boat gas at the marinas. Although the cabin has internet, it is slow during the summer, but it is the best option at Priest. There is a large screen (55”) TV in the living room connected to the internet, and a Blu-ray Disc player. I have 4 recreational kayaks for you to use. The cabin is on well water which is clean and drinkable, although the wells in this area contain some rust, so some might prefer to bring bottled water for drinking. The kitchen is supplied with all the dishes, cookware, and appliances that you’ll need. The sheets will be clean and I provide a set of towels for 6 guests.
This clean, waterfront cabin was perfect for our family. Everything was exactly as described- the cabin had it all and was well stocked. Fantastic, new dock. The host/owner was quick to respond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated everything!
We loved this great little cabin in Reeder Bay. It came exactly as described--but in reality, was even a little better than we thought! We loved the grilling porch, and the use of the kayaks--in large part because the life jackets were right there hanging neatly, the Traeger was filled with pellets, and all the BBQ tools were ready to go. The house was the same--I really appreciated the bag of coffee and having some bottled water chilling in the fridge. Everything about this cabin was set up so you could just load your stuff in and go jump in the lake. We had some family up on the weekend, and there were no complaints from the 'shop house' either. We thought this cabin was a great setup for our crew. We would totally love to return the next time we come to Priest Lake! Thanks for a great stay!
Very easy to communicate. Owner was extremely responsive We had everything we needed to enjoy our week with family
Very well equipped cabin! Plenty of kitchen stuff for making nice meals. We took advantage of the smoker and enjoyed waterfront dining on chicken and ribs. Kris the host was very prompt and helpful in answering our questions.
