⭐️Premier Host - Serene cabin, the best amenities, north end of James Ranch

Host were wonderful. Cabin is nice and confortable

We had such a wonderful stay. The Ranch is a beautiful property and it was pumpkin patch weekend too so we were able to tour the grounds a bit with the owners and their sweet dogs. The cabin is so charming and comfortable. We were close to great hiking, the Durango Hot Springs, and wonderful restaurants.

We had an amazing time here this week! This cabin has every thoughtful amenity you could think of, and more. Our outstanding hosts, Jenn and Joe, were great communicators, super responsive and helpful. Very clean cabin, very comfy bed, wonderful fireplace, plentiful appliances, adorable patio and porch. We felt very welcome, relaxed, and pampered. Don’t miss The James Ranch Market & Grill; best burgers we’ve ever had! We enjoyed the board games several nights and the amazing mountain views, fresh air, and starry nights. We enjoyed the toiletries, slippers, and robes, and visits from our hosts’ pups. Helpful area info too. Highly recommend The James Ranch; our best and most favorite vrbo stay ever!

Great peaceful and quiet getaway! The hosts are very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Super cute pups! The cabin is very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely relaxing and romantic stay. The location is perfect. Be sure to eat at the James Ranch Grill next door the food is delicious!

An Amazing Cain on The James Ranch

Perfect cabin for my partner and I. Location provides a short drive into Durango, and a shortened drive to Silverton. Would definitely come back in the future

I loved staying at the cabin. It is cute and cozy. It has everything you need to just relax and get away from it all. The washer/dryer were quite handy. While there isn’t a stove/oven, the hot plate and toaster/convection oven were sufficient for small meals . The owner was so helpful and kind. I loved meeting her pups.

The cabin location was prefect. Just enough to be away from the intown traffic for peace, but close enough to drive into town for essentials.

We stayed three nights. Very comfortable cabin on James Ranch. An easy drive to Purgatory ski resort. Very quiet property and the communication with the host was excellent. Dont forget to eat lunch or dinner at the James Ranch Grill.

We had a wonderful time in the cabin. Everything was very clean and cabin has more than is listed. We used hot plate to cook all our meals and it was very convenient. Has plenty of pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses, utensils, and more! Testfully decorated and every detail is thought through. We had a very nice stay.

Highly recommend, great communication before and after stay

We liked that the property was nestled away from the city limits. It was clean and the people were friendly and knowledgeable. We love the form of agri they use. It was great! We will definitely stay there again.

The cabin was perfect and had everything I needed, which was mainly peace and quiet. Had dinner at the lovely James Ranch Grill and enjoyed the Durango Hot Springs and Spa not far away. All in all a wonderful stay!

This property is very clean and quiet. Only about 12 minutes from Durango. Owner was very nice. They live close by but don’t bother you.

Great location to do things in Durango...then easy to head up north too.

The cabin was beautiful. Terry greeted us upon arrival and we even met the puppies. O recommend this for a quiet getaway. Plenty of hiking and nature attractions to see close by.

Great little get away cabin.

Everything about this cabin is absolutely wonderful! From the screened-in back porch to the peaceful front patio, the entire place is a perfect retreat to enjoy the Animas valley outside of Durango. It is the perfect distance from town, with easy access to area attractions. Thank you for creating this beautiful retreat!

Beautiful retreat in the forest. It was very clean, cozy and comfortable. The bed was very nice and the wood stove was an extra added bonus for morning yoga! There’s a front and back porch and birdsong all day long. Terry was available on the property but gave us privacy. Do yourself a favor and grab a burger at the Jane’s Ranch Grill (it’s the same family’s business). GOAT burgers!!!
