Enjoyed the house for its size to handle our 9 people and its location to the local area. We kept the wood burning fireplace going almost the whole time. Had a good snow dusting on our first morning that got the trip going good.
Nice spacious area peaceful in middle of the wilderness nice place to getaway from the city
This property was perfect for our trip to Dalton GA for a softball tournament! I just wish we had more time to enjoy the views, but it was exactly as described! Check-in and out couldn't have been simpler. We've already said next year we'll be back and stay an extra day to enjoy!
Beautiful secluded property with a lot of room.
Perfect! We will be back.
We had a blast at the property and having the pool and the game room was awesome for thr younger girls as well as us older gals. The view from thr back porch was perfection with our morning coffee.
Great house for a large family get away
Overall, our stay was just OK. The pool is much smaller than it appears in the pictures, but does have a great view of the mountains. As far as beds go, there are 5 beds (sleeps 9 adults) and the rest are pull-outs and couches. The kitchen supplies need a facelift: pans/utensils/cups & plates are old, scratched and need to be replaced. There were several outlets that didn't work and lamps need new bulbs. We also had curtains that we had to hang back up in one bedroom. Critters: we had a small scorpion in the house, and lots of critters that we had to get out of the pool (scorpion, lizard, worms). I've stayed at several cabins in the area, and this one was just OK.
Great property with lots of fun things to do. Lots of space too!!
Great time and loved the space. Hot tub cover was broken and very difficult to get off. Water in hot tub looked dirty. Loved the pool and fire pit!!!
We all enjoyed the property. The kids loved the pool.
Beautiful
Have a great time! Plenty of room, well stocked kitchen, private location. Highly recommended for large families, corporate retreat, group of friends ????
Wonderful location with plenty of parking. The pool, hot tub & fire pit were awesome extras. Thankfully we brought our own canopy for the pool, the umbrella in the picture was not provided. Kitchen was equipped to cook a family meal. It was a short drive to the aquarium in Chattanooga, horseback riding, fishing & hiking nearby. A few things that wasn't a positive experience. A spindle was broken on the 2nd floor that my 22 month old grandson found. He could have fallen through. I contacted the emergency number but the spindle was not temporarily fixed until 4 days after I reported it. The light over the shower was out and the extra sink in the master did not work and was never fixed while we were there. The sink in the kitchen started leaking, dripping into basement living area. My son had to work on it to make it stop leaking. The TV in the living room was unusable for most of our stay as DirecTV had to come out for a repair and the DVD player was unhooked and DVDs missing. The majority of the house was clean with the exception of several dead scorpions and bugs laying around on the floors. There was a tunnel spider and mysterious stain in basement BR, toilets were taped but moldy. We had to shower and bathe grandbabies in rusty water for most of the week because the hot water was brown and smelled of rust. I am assuming the place hadn't been occupied in awhile. With better cleaning and quicker response to repairs this could've been a 5 star review with no complaints.
This property was actually nicer than in the pictures. Very clean and well stocked. The hot tub needed to be cleaned and the property owners sent someone out the same day. She did an excellent job cleaning and refilling the hot tub. Downstairs fireplace didn’t work but overall it was a great vacation!
Everything was perfect from start to finish! The house was very clean, and everything labeled. We had our family of 8 and we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the game room, the fire pit and pool on the daily! We will definitely be back when we stay in N Georgia!
Other than the plumbing problem with the master suite bathroom that remained unusable for our entire stay and the pool needing proper care to eliminate the frog eggs we enjoyed our stay. We understand that you can’t control frogs in the woods but with proper chemicals it would of eliminated the problem, they had someone come and clean it for us which we greatly appreciate. We loved the location and this home had so much entertainment for everyone. Definitely a great vacation place for family.
Excellent. Beautiful wood work. Close to town if needed. Quiet and comfortable.
We recently stayed at this property. We were a little disappointed not being able to use the pool, but we wanted to make the best of it. The first night was awesome, we played board games, pool, the arcade games, and just had a great time. Going to sleep we noticed there was some droppings on the downstairs bed. We were a little grossed out about it and had to sleep on the couch in the living room. The next morning we wanted to still try to make the best of it, but were exhausted from the lack of sleep. We went ahead and cleaned, washed the linens for the bed downstairs. We set up the bed after everything was fresh and went out for some lunch. When we returned we wanted to take a nap. But again, new droppings on the already cleaned bed. So there was defiantly a mouse downstairs. When we tried to express this to the property manager, they shrugged it off. Not a big deal to them nor any sympathy. Almost like they are worn out and do not care about maintaining good customer service. I wanted to see if there was a way to remedy this situation because I know reviews about vermin on the beds would really throw people away. They didn't care. So here I am writing the review. The place is extremely gorgeous and a lot of fun. But no one likes sleeping with mice. Very Unfortunate.
My friends and I had a great time at the cabin! Everything was clean and worked properly. The game room was amazing and we spend a lot of time there! Highly recommend this stay.
We all loved our staying here. Comfy beds, fun games and movies and we loved the hot tub (pool was closed due to the season). Could use more trash bags, toilet paper, paper towel and towels in general especially kitchen towels. Overall though the place is fully equipped with lots to do! Definitely want to come back!
