Getting to and into the property was easy. First impressions were good. The rooms appeared to be in good order. Did not spend much time awake in the cabin the first night. The second evening turned our views around. As we sat around the living room, we saw a mouse run across the floor to the oven. From there it escaped to the sofa sleeper. We took off the cushions and were able to find the mouse as well many droppings. This lead us to do more exploring of typical hiding spots and found droppings behind the oven, under the kitchen sink and behind the headboard in the master bedroom. This put some in the group in nervous mode and sleeping arrangements were changed putting many people upstairs. The next morning we heard and were able to kill a baby mouse. Besides the mouse issue, we found some leftover underwear in a couple of drawers. We did not use the deck or the garage. We used the dining room table only as a holder. This unit could be a wonderful unit to stay in but the mouse issue really flipped our view.
Pictures are very deceiving. The place was nasty, the carpet is stained in every room. The bathrooms were gross. The towels were so old, they were so thin. There were spider webs throughout the inside of the house, including the bedrooms. The curtains did not fit the windows, the master bedroom curtains did not fit & they were see through. The beds were all uncomfortable. The yard is not maintained at all, with weeds up to your knees. All in all this was our first time using VRBO, not sure we would do it again. Not worth the money, very disappointing.
Nice family style log home, clean and very comfortable. Close to Williams, AZ- gateway to the Grand Canyon. Property manager easy to contact, friendly and responsive.
This house was perfect for our family for our Polar Express weekend. The location was convenient to the train station and downtown Williams!
We came up with a party of 8 to stay and attend the Polar Express. This cabin was perfect for us.
We enjoyed our stay!!
Everything was perfect.
We had a great time in Williams this cabin/home was perfect so cute & comfortable will definitely be staying here again Thank you
This property was great! Well stocked clean and plenty of space. We traveled here with 10 people adults and children. There was plenty of space for all. Comfortable beds linens etc. centrally located to Grand Canyon and Sedona. Lots to do in Williams as well. Would highly recommend to other travelers. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
My husband and I, along with our 4 children, and our daughter’s best friend, stayed here for two nights while visiting the Grand Canyon. It was nicely located for taking the train in to the park. It was a very nice property and a wonderful break from hotels on our road trip. The bunk room was perfect for our boys, and my daughter and her friend enjoyed the smaller upstairs bedroom. Negatives were: 1) the king sized bed in the master bedroom was extremely uncomfortable and far too soft. The mattress is in desperate need of replacing as one side has absolutely zero support & was very painful on our backs. They seem to have tried to remedy this with a memory foam pillow top cover, but it only made the problem worse. 2) The tables in the master bedroom were odd. 3) There was only one couch in the family room, rather than 2, which made for inadequate seating. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay, but were very happy not to sleep in that bed ever again! It was uncomfortable enough that we would not go back unless it were replaced, even though we loved everything else.
Thank you for the stay. Love the cabin.
We were happy with the house and with Caitlyn. It was in a great neighborhood and location close to downtown.
We rented the cabin for our stay in Williams Arizona for 4 days we had people age from 3 years old to 85 years old the cabin was perfect to hold 11 of us on the property. The property was very clean. The only thing I would suggest about the property is that it would have more towels for the bathrooms. The property manager was on top of any emails that I sent her. I would stay at the cabin again if we ever went to Williams Arizona again.
It was nice and peaceful and had everything we needed. Everything about the booking process was quick and easy and my family really enjoyed their stay!
Family girl trip to see the Grand Canyon was perfect with this great place to stay as our base for excursions! There were 5 of us girls and we had plenty of room and comfort. Beds were comfy as well as the living room. Plenty of supplies and towels! We didn't cook much but I noticed the kitchen could use more good pans. Would stay here again! Thank you!
