Stayed Oct 10, 2025We had a great visit over a long fall weekend. The location was excellent. We had no trouble driving into downtown Ellijay and to an orchard during the busy Apple Festival, and it was an easy drive to Blue Ridge, too. The house itself was perfectly suited for our group, with four bedrooms in three distinct spaces for our three family units, plus pet-friendly! We enjoyed eating a fun birthday dinner outside on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. My daughter spent hours playing on the play set in the backyard. The kitchen was snug but very functional. We found all the supplies we needed, and we appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of kids' plates, bowls, and silverware. There are a few things on the property that could use a bit of TLC: some hammocks were broken, the cushions of the outdoor deck chair were dirty, there was a hole in the fence of the dog run, the mattress and pillows of the downstairs queen bed were in need of replacing. But we didn't have any significant problems during our stay, and we'd happily return.

Stayed Sep 1, 2024Check-in was simple and easy. The house was clean and roomy. Everything was as described in the listing. The house is just a few minutes from town, but it was so peaceful and relaxing that the only times we left the property was to shop for supplies. All kitchen equipment worked. It was an extremely pleasant stay for everyone, senior citizens as well as teenager. The owners communicated well and were very responsive to questions.

Stayed May 26, 2022We absolutely loved our stay. The setting is wonderful - convenient to everything in Ellijay but the home is in a secluded, serene setting which makes you feel like you really got away. We enjoyed the layout of the home very much, but we spent much of our time outdoors on the hammocks, playing corn hole, in the hot tub, or sitting around the fire pit. The home has several outdoor fountains which are really nice and a fenced-in portion of the yard for furry family members. Andrea was super responsive when we had any questions. We miss it already and can't wait to go back!
