This was an amazing place for a solo retreat to reconnect with myself and relax and be in the present for once. Definitely thinking about staying again in the future.

My friend and I loved our stay! It was about an hour and 20 minutes to the park, but that was with the closures. The cabin was comfortable and fit our every need. They even had a cooler for us to use during our stay. We ate out dinner and there were many great restaurants within a 15 minute drive. Id happily stay here again

Everything was great! Clean, easy to find and it worked out great for our visit to Yosemite.

This is a small but very cool place to stay for 2-4 people. My wife & I were traveling to Yosemite with our 17y/o daughter and it was perfectly sized for the 3 of us. The owner’s are very responsive and attended to all our needs quickly! I would highly recommend staying here over any hotel in the area.

The cabin is tucked away in the mountains about 25 minutes from the entrance of Yosemite National Park. Was a spur of the moment occasion in which everything was perfect! The cabin was super clean and had all the necessities (stove excluded but the outdoor grill suited fine for grill/cooktop), very quiet and perfect if venturing solo, with a significant other or with the family. It is secluded from the lodge and major stores are about 8 miles away, so city lights didn't effect the night scenery. Everything was perfect from the drive, to the scenery, Yosemite itself and being able to relax and escape. Definitely would recommend and will be looking forward to future reservations here.

Loved this place nestled in the hills outside of Yosemite. Quiet, comfortable, unique. Loved the selection of dvds as a fun way to spend an evening in a nostalgic kinds of way (aka no YouTube or cellphone required for entertainment) Used this place as our home base for four nights as we hiked different parts of Yosemite NP. Also enjoyed the rooster greeting in the morning off in the distance. Great place and I’d stay here again.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The cabin was lovely and comfortable. There are two routes into Yosemite. If you take 140 into the park it takes about an hour and 15 minutes with beautiful views along the way and places to get breakfast on the way in and dinner on the way out. Route 41 is also easily accessible to go into the part via Wawona. Don't miss Yosemite Trails Horseback riding or a 1/2 day on Bass Lake. Brenda was a spectacular hostess; very available when needed. You cannot go wrong staying at Sierra Mountain Lodge!

John & Brenda were absolutely fabulous hosts. They were very responsive and provided great insight on activities. An example is we were having difficulty in obtaining an entry pass into Yosemite & Brenda advised us to go onto the app which worked beautifully. The place was very clean and perfect for our family. We utilized the BBQ which was top notch. My only suggestion is to bring a cutting board but other than that it had everything you needed. Thank you very much & we will definitely think of this place in the future.
