Magnificent view and a friendly vibe. Having fresh eggs from the chickens down the road, fresh picked blueberries for breakfast and a bottle of wine to enjoy at sunset made this an extra special stay. Kitchen is set up very well. Owners gave lots of useful advice. Would loved to have stayed longer to check out the many things to do here. The location of this property is very convenient. My highest recommendation!

Scott and Lynn are wonderful hosts. They provided us a bottle of wine and a dozen fresh eggs from their chickens. My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary there and had an amazing time exploring the Olympic peninsula. Their place is lovely and is highly recommended!

Wow, what a lovely stay. The grounds are just precious, with magical views and all of nature's blessings surrounding you. The hosts were so so kind- we were gifted with a bottle of wine our first night, and came home to fresh plums picked from their gardens in a bag hanging on our door with a sweet note. Having just come from an AirB&B a few hours away that was beyond disappointing, this was a relief. Hosts matter, as do clear instructions on all the amenities, gadgets etc. in which they very much offered. In a world where rentals are becoming more and more cookie cutter and stale, this was a breath of fresh air (literally)! Just one request- a real iron would be so appreciated by dorks like us who sometimes iron our clothes meticulously, as we tried to do for our anniversary dinner here but really couldn't. Overall I can't recommend this place more. They have the most glorious picnic basket available that I've ever seen- I gasped over it and have been searching for a similar one ever since (with no luck). If you want to wake to roosters crowing, mystical cloud formations over the water, and eat fresh eggs from hens just a whisper away, don't hesitate. Bliss!

This property was absolutely beautiful. Very relaxing getaway. The cabin is stock with everything you need to make you feel at home. Very private property. One thing I would only say is to maybe add some blinds to the main entrance door since is a see through glass. Other than that is a wonder place to stay and explore Port Angeles.

This cozy cabin is lovely and has everything we needed and more. It's in a quiet, peaceful area with a beautiful view. The owners made our stay memorable with special touches and amenities to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. You'll get an outdoorsy, rustic feel but are still only minutes away from plenty of restaurants, stores, and shopping. It's also not far from popular National Olympic Park areas like Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent. A truly wonderful place to stay!

We absolutely loved our stay. Lynn and Scott were so kind and we barely knew they were there. We asked to borrow a cooler for our day trips to Olympic National Park and they also provided as with ice packs, fresh berries and some delicious banana bread. The shower is the wonderful along with everything else they have to offer. We would 100% recommend if you are looking for some peace and quiet with a beautiful view!

This location is honestly breath-taking! The accommodations are great, but the view of the strait has to be seen to be believed. Sitting and watching the fog and clouds play over the water is a transcendent experience. I can't recommend this cabin enough!

Just wow! Everything about this VRBO listing is wonderful. The views and surrounding gardens are beautiful! Lynn and Scott have made this a perfect spot from which to enjoy the Olympic Peninsula. Having the washer and dryer is great - no need to overpack. The fresh eggs are yummy bonus! The bed and couch are comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you’ll need. The shower is fantastic!

Lynn & Scott were great hosts that had thought of everything, and were very pleasant. We very much appreciated their reccomendations. Thank you for allowing us to stay here!

Our stay at this property was amazing. The check-in was easy and well communicated. We were greeted with a lovely note, wine, and fresh eggs from the property owners feathered friends! The views were outstanding and the property itself was divine. Would recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in the PNW.

The StraitView Cabin was the perfect getaway!! The cabin was comfy and clean with all the supplies that we needed to feel at home. The location was perfect leaving us close to downtown Port Angeles and grocery stores, but up a hill provide peace and quiet. The view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Canada on a sunny, clear day was spectacular and when the sun went down it became a perfect spot to stargaze. Lynn and Scott were extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs and we definitely want to return during the summer or fall to experience the area in warmer weather. The perfect place to stay!!

We really enjoyed staying at Lynn and Steve’s gorgeous property. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. Bed was super comfy and shower REALLY nice. We had everything we needed and looked forward to coming back at the end of long days hiking in the park. Fresh eggs were an extra bonus! Highly recommend!

This property is a hidden gem just minutes from the town of Port Angeles and so close to many of the best parts of Olympic National Park! My husband and I spent 8 days in the PNW for the first time and this two night stay was the highlight. The cabin was extremely clean, comfortable and picturesque. It was great to have a nice kitchen to cook breakfast in the mornings. Can’t recommend it enough! We hope to return one day!

Lynn and Scott could not have been better hosts. They are friendly and helpful and respectful of privacy. Their home has great views of the water and the town below. It is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you might need. The area is secluded, quiet, and very peaceful. Saw lots of hummingbirds at Lynn’s feeders. Loved their friendly Labrador pup! Convenient to Port Angeles, Sequim, lovely Port Townsend, and the Olympic National Park. Highly recommended!
