You will have access to the entire cabin.

Contact-free check in. Two days prior to check in, you will receive your door code. Once you get to the area, you can go straight to the cabin and unwind. No need to pick up a key.

I will be available at all usual business hours while guests are in the cabin and if something needs attention, I will do my best to get it fixed as quickly as possible!

The cabin is located on well-maintained, paved roads. It is usually no problem accessing the cabin using a 2WD vehicle, including in winter. If you are visiting in winter, however, check the weather report just in case. The whole area is fairly hilly, although there are no major hills to climb to get to the cabin. A safe and wooded cul-de-sac makes Alexander Place a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the nearby parkway.

The cabin is on a regular, monthly pest control schedule, but sometimes unwanted bugs may venture inside. Pigeon Forge is home to stink bugs, Asian beetles, and wood roaches, which view open windows and doors as an invitation, especially at the changing of the season. I recommend keeping windows and doors closed when not in use.

For being so close to the Parkway, it is secluded and quiet and feels a world away from the action.

Be aware that parking is somewhat limited. The driveway has room for up to three vehicles. Street parking is okay for any vehicles that won`t fit in the driveway.

Full disclosure: the kitchen is on the small side. This may be a problem if you are planning to cook three meals a day there, but otherwise it should have everything you need.

Check in is at 4:00 pm and check out is at 10:00. These times are fixed. The cleaners keep a very tight schedule and make their plans around this six hour window. Out of respect to them, I cannot make exceptions to these times.

Please also note that as a small business, I am not able to grant last-minute refunds, so I highly recommend protecting your investment with travel insurance.

If you do need to cancel and are entitled to a full refund based on our cancelation policy, please be aware that our payment processor, Stripe, may retain a 2.9% transfer fee. We do not retain any money if the guest is entitled to a full refund, but we do not have control over Stripe policies.

So why book this property

Location. Very close to the best that Pigeon Forge has to offer, including Dollywood, the Island, dinner theaters, etc. while preserving a sense of calm and tranquility. It is also not far from Gatlinburg, Wears Valley, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Layout. Four master suites with full bathrooms to maximize guest privacy. Easy-to-access upper level. Comfortable, open living area with high ceilings.

Love. My family`s cabin is starting to show some age, but we think of it as a fine vintage! We have put some of our heart and soul into it, we love sharing it, and we promise to do our best to make your stay there special.

Unique benefits:

You get to be hosted by Dolly! Who better to host your stay in Pigeon Forge than Dolly Okay, it`s not THAT Dolly, but still...

The owner was incredibly gracious, communicated excellently, and made sure our stay at her lovely cabin was truly stellar. The cabin had all the charm and comfort we hoped for. The mattresses were amazing—perfect for a restful night’s sleep—and the shower with dual shower heads was such a treat. We loved gathering around the cozy fireplace as a family, relaxing on the balconies while enjoying the peaceful outdoors, and everyone absolutely adored the hot tub on the main balcony. The location couldn’t be better, making everything easily accessible.I highly recommend this cabin. Thank you, Dolly, for helping make our vacation such a success in your beautiful home.

My two adult Daughters (one came with her husband), my adult son, my 14 year old Granddaughter, my Husband and I all agree that our stay at the: Pets? YES! Four Master Suites was great and should be rated 5 Stars. By having a complete Master Suite & Bathroom for each unit within our family group, this was a convenience beyond words for privacy when needed and for getting ready to go out the door. Aka: Mountain Destiny, the owners could not have chosen a better name for this fabulous cabin so very close to all of the major activities that can be found in Pigeon Forge.

Location was great bc it was near town. Driveway is very little can fit 3 vehicles bumper to bumper. Kitchen is small if you plan to cook. They have started some patching in places but didn’t finish. The worst is the area going downstairs at the threshold. It use to have like a sliding door. They never took the track up. Several of us fell over it. Dangerous. Also no yard for kids to play if you have kids who like outside.

We took 4 couple for a Valentines getaway. We especially loved that each bedroom had its on on suite bathroom. In addition the kitchen was well equipped for being able to prepare meals for everyone. The proximity to town is super close which makes for easy DoorDash delivery if you never want to leave like us.

Great location. Owner was very responsive during our stay. A few maintenance issues and items that need to be cleaned but considering the number of visitors this time of year we understand. Very quiet neighborhood and close of main strip in Pigeon Forge. Loved the 4 large bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone . Two covered back porches and hot tub very nice to sit and enjoy.

I took my two sisters for a short trip. The cabin was perfect for us. The two main suites on the first floor worked out perfectly. The host was very attentive and thorough. Her recommendation for dinner, The Loaded Goat, was fabulous. Couldn’t have been happier.

We enjoyed the house This is information for our wonderful host, Dolly. She was so good to keep in communication with us. She answered every question we had. Her house is in a beautiful area located very conveniently to events in pigeon forge The only suggestion we have for her is that it was uncomfortable to sleep on plastic sheets in the downstairs bedrooms and if she has to use plastic sheets on these beds that it would be helpful to have fitted sheets that will stay tucked in. Also we love to play card games and the surface of the table upstairs has a sticky surface. She may not be able to do anything about that because of the humidity and the finish that the table has on it. But all in all we would rate the house as an excellent place to stay

It was very nice. The four bedrooms and four baths was amazing. The shower head needed attention in the master bedroom. There were a few things that could have been better but all in all it was a great time with our siblings and their spouses.

My husband, two kids and I had a very nice stay! The location of the home is back in a nice neighborhood, while still being extremely close to The Island of Pigeon Forge. Only 15 minutes max to Dollywood! Plenty of places to get food, go explore and hike, or play Putt Putt. Our only thing was some minor cleanliness issues that I spoke with the owner about she was wonderful at hearing me and very quick to respond. The hot tub was really nice and the rooms are all spacious with their own full bathrooms! Would recommend to any family!

My family spent three nights in this cabin and were very happy with the large bedrooms and big comfy beds. The jacuzzi tubs were so relaxing and the hot tub was very welcoming at the end of each day. The location of the cabin is awesome, so close to so many attractions and great places to visit. We went to The Island and ate breakfast at Paula Deen's Family Kitchen. It was so delicious and satisfying...highly recommend! We sampled the Tennessee Bootlegger's wine & Ole Smoky moonshine (we bought some to take home too). We cooked yummy dinners on the gas grill. Our host saved the day and sent a fresh tank of propane our way. Thanks Dolly! We watched movies, laughed, and enjoyed our family time together. Our host went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable and was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We highly recommend this host and this property. We hope to return and continue our adventures at a later date.
