Pet-Friendly Retreat w/ Game Room & Fire Pit!

Needs a handyman for a day or two

Overall everything was good. The cabin was very cold when we got there. We had a 1 year old with us that needed to go to sleep. But It was too cold in the upstairs bedroom. We had the heat on for 4 hours and still was only 60 degrees. It would have been helpful if the owner had turned on the heat before we came. Once the house was heated, it stayed at a comfortable temperature the rest of the weekend. Also, I had some things I was planning on cooking in the oven but none of the cookie sheets fit in the oven. It is a really nice oven but is 2 small ones, side by side. I found one small cookie sheet that fit but was not able to use the oven like I planned. Other than that, the cabin was very well stocked with snacks, microwave popcorn, hot chocolate, spices, cooking oil … We brought ground coffee hoping there would be a reusable keurig cup but there was not. There were no more kcups and we also did not see any hand soap in the bathrooms. We bought more kcups at the store and the owner reimbursed us. Someone also came by with a small box of kcups and more hand soap for the bathrooms. The showers had shampoo and conditioner but no body wash. Everyone really enjoyed the game room downstairs. It was nice that there was a full bedroom and bathroom downstairs also. We enjoyed walking around the area. Also walked to the Mountain Coffee truck across the street.

What a great stay in this high-end mountain retreat! Our weekend stay was scheduled when Lake Arrowhead was under evacuation warnings due to the Line Fire. The owner was so kind to reach out a few days prior to our stay to be sure we were aware of the situation. When we arrived, the sky was relatively clear & just a touch of smoke in the air.From personal touches to the numerous amenities offered, the owners thought of everything to make us feel at home!Here are a few things that made this a standout vacation rental:Location: Tranquil, yet close to everything.* Serene setting overlooking lots of trees and a peak of the lake.* Close to Lake Arrowhead Village & Lake Arrowhead Resort. * Cute/yummy Mountain Coffee Airstream Coffee Trailer w/seating outdoors close by.* Our fave breakfast spot (Cedar Glen Inn/Diner) nearby - 30 years going there :)Check-in / Check-out* Super easy! * Clear instructions.* Keypad entry.Floor plan:Great floor plan / layout - perfect for two families, multiple generations, and couples. There’s a bedroom and bathroom on entry level. We only used the two upstairs bedrooms which were very large and shared a bathroom. Downstairs (bottom level) has another bedroom and bathroom next to the game room (great for families with kids and teens, or the young at heart). Deck off the bottom and main levels.Amenities:* Kitchen - High-end appliances. Fully stocked. K-Cup coffee station was great! * Beds - Super comfy!* Welcoming extras - from snacks to toiletries this made us feel at home.* Iron and Ironing board - in great condition compared to other places we’ve rented.* Alexa - We enjoyed playing music upstairs when getting ready.* Game Room - Fun for all ages - wished we had time to enjoy it!* TV’s - Large/perfect size for room sizes. Lots of viewing/streaming options. We watched a movie on Netflix with our account. Due to a weekend of local festivities for a wedding, we were not able to take advantage of everything this beautiful mountain home has to offer, so we would love to stay there again soon :)

We recently stayed in this beautiful cabin. Two families, 4 adults and 5 kids. There are plenty of comfy beds and the rooms are designed perfectly. The decor is fun and modern, but it still feels warm and cozy… and best part… it’s clean!! The lower level is epic for kids! My kids loved all the electronic games, board games, ping pong table, etc. Having their own bedroom and bathroom down there was so nice for them to have fun and feel independent, while still leaving the upstairs living room open for the adults to enjoy. The home is well situated, close to shopping and restaurants and a short walk to the lake/docs. I truly can’t say enough good things about this cabin. It was well stocked and the host was very kind to check in and make sure everything was going well. Our winter stay was so much fun… We’re already making plans to come back in the summer!

My family and I had such a great time at this house. The inside of the house has been updated very nicely, and everything is where it should be. We enjoyed walking around Lake Arrowhead, departing right from the house and catching a nice trail with great views. The restaurants close to the house are very tasty as well. The game room was a big hit for our kids and we all watched a movie together on the big screen. Thanks to John for being a great host.

We had a really nice time in this lovely cabin. Seriously, it's the most well-stocked Air B&B I've ever stayed in. The owners are very generous in that regard. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is communication was very poor prior to the day we occupied the cabin. We contacted the owner (on the website form) a few days before our vacation to see if we could have an early check-in. I never heard back. I then called the management company, they said I had to contact the owner, and gave me his phone number. I called and left a message, and never heard back. The day before I called the the management company again, they said to text, which I then did, and again never heard back. The morning of, I called the management company AGAIN, I was forwarded to a supervisor, she put me on hold. When she eventually came back, she said she reached the owner and said we could check in early. I worried the entire time if we needed anything, no one would respond to our phone calls/texts/emails, etc. I must say, though, the employees of the management company, Evolve, were all very kind.

What a beautiful cabin! We had plenty of room and the bathrooms were amazing! The fireplace made for an extra warm and cozy experience and we loved our stay.. in fact, we should have stayed longer! Can’t wait to return!

We had a nice, cozy stay at this cabin for New Years. It was two families (4 adults, 5 kids). The space was perfect for a group of our size. Overall the house was well-appointed with updated decor, comfy beds, and most necessities, plus some extra perks including a fun game room for the kiddos with multiple video game consoles, ping pong table, etc. It was on a busier road, but we still enjoyed walks through the neighborhood. As with most vacation rentals, the pots and pans were in really poor shape. I didn’t feel comfortable using most of them since they were super scratched up non-stick pans. Also the showers did not drain well at all. We had to turn them off mid-shower to allow them to drain. Aside from these two minor grievances, I would say the house is a gem!
