Lots of games and entertainment. The beds were very comfortable. The sounds from the creek were serene and relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful with breathtaking views and plenty of fun games to enjoy. The host was always easy to reach and added so many thoughtful personal touches. We had a fantastic weekend!

Fun family cabin for a quick trip to the mountains! Cabin is comfortable, the numerous games and hot tub were loved by the kids, beautiful location with deer walking through the backyard.As described, some furniture is older and pet friendly. The hike down to the river and back up is no joke, I measured 0.1 mile! All in all, great relaxing getaway!

Our family of six had a wonderful time at Rippling Waters cabin, despite the stormy weather. The hosts have done an exceptional job of providing a variety of activities to enjoy inside the cabin. Our family especially enjoyed the hot tub. It was the relaxing weekend we needed.

Great home for family reunion. Driveway very steep and scary.Some of the plates and kitchen stuff need updating as chipped and non matching, walkway to river also need reno as treacherous but all in 4 out f 5

Loved this cabin and will rent it again and again. So nice and cozy. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything!! Loved the river in the back… such a nice spot!! Loved seeing deers all over!! I am hoping to rent it again soon

Relaxing and fun mountain cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cabin! The cabin itself was comfortable and well stocked, and when outside on the decks you could hear the soft sounds of the creek below. The creek was a bit too shallow for us to fish in, but if we had fly-fishing gear we might have done a bit better. Just be ready for the trek down to the creek - it can be challenging! We were surprised by the number of houses/cabin around us, but we never heard anyone (save an occasional circular saw the first day). Staying at Rippling Waters was a very restful vacation - just what we wanted!

Lots to like about this cabin! Our young adults enjoyed tubing in the river and playing the games and board games. We enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen is well stocked. The directions were very easy to follow to find the cabin in the dark and the host communication was timely and helpful. The cabin was clean and the shower water pressure was very good!! Although we didn't need it, I noticed a top latch (child safety) on the door from the main level to the basement staircase and a gate was provided in one of the closets for the upper level staircase. The gas grill is located on the basement level deck and requires that the cook take a set of stairs from the kitchen. The furniture is not in the best of shape (handles missing from dressers, top board missing from one of the basement dressers, one of the couches not enough support) (living room furniture does not match photo exactly). Beds were comfortable. The bedroom in the basement with the attached bath does not have a door that closes. It has a sliding door which does not seal out light and noise and also has a 3 diameter hole (maybe a previous door knob) which doesn't give complete privacy. Maybe OK for youngsters. There was one towel and wash cloth per person. There were no kitchen towels/dish cloths (a sponge scrubber and dish soap provided). Lots of deer in the neighborhood. Our family of 7 (ages 17 to 65) enjoyed our stay in July!

This house is perfect for a family with kids of all ages. The sunroom off of the living room was a great place to set up a play area for our 3 toddlers. They had their own space within view of the living room and kitchen. The river is nice to look at with views from every deck but not accessible for the little kids. We enjoyed the parks and pool. All the amenities are within the neighborhood within a short drive. The binder was so helpful with directions to anything we needed. Our family took advantage of the Blue Ridge Railway trip to Mccaysville. They loved it!
