Serenity Falls' is an original Stone and Wood Cabin sits on 25 Acres of Beautiful Mountain Property, and there are Waterfalls that are a short, albeit rough, hike along the Creek.t is a peaceful and and is enhanced by the Babbling Creek that meanders through the length of the property and along side the Cabin.
Outside you will enjoy the fire pits, Sparkling Hot Tub that is placed under the Stars - along the Creek, and large shady yard. In the living room are original wood floors, comfortable living room furniture, and a large flat screen TV. The central point in the Cozy Living-room is the Native Stone (Wood burning) Fireplace. There is a full bathroom downstairs with an old time claw tub. There is another bathroom upstairs with a large bedroom with a comfortable king bed. Open up the windows at night and listen to the sound of the babbling creek. You will not not want to go back to city life There is a loft space that offers a twin day bed. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room with a new mattress added in November 2021.
Serenity Falls is very Private all year round, but isn't completely Secluded in the Winter (when all the trees have dropped their leaves, from the front of the cabin, you may see over the top/back side of a neighboring property that is past the parking area and across the field). You will be close to area restaurants, shopping, dining, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee, and Harrah's Casino. Within 10-15 minutes you can be in either Cherokee or Bryson City. A few minutes up the road is 'Coopers Creek Trout Pond' which makes catching your dinner very easy and fun! At Coopers Creek Trout Farm, you will find access to 7-10 miles of hiking trails that are part of the Great Smoky Mountains! You can walk there from the cabin, or drive there, park your car, and explore the hiking trails!
Within 15-20 minutes to the west, you can be tubing at Deep Creek (also beautiful waterfall hiking trails and a lovely picnic area), dining or shopping in Bryson City. A little farther and west of Bryson City is the Tsali for Hiking or Mountain Biking, Lake Fontana, The Nantahala Gorge (the N.O.C. with Whitewater Rafting, Kayaking, Zip Lining, and more). About the same distance to the east is Cherokee Indian Reservation, Harrah's Casino, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
..... If your vacation dates are during 'Season' or Holidays and you plan to rent a pontoon or fishing boat, it may be a good idea to reserve in advance! Lake Fontana is primarily National Forest, Smoky Mountains, and Federally owned.

The cabin was very comfortable and clean. All appliances and kitchen accessories are high end. The location was quiet and private and the mountain stream running beside the cabin added a wonderful relaxing feel to our stay. Sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch was most enjoyable. Smoky Mtn. National Park is close as are hiking trails and wonderful rivers for fishing, swimming and tubing. We will return for another stay.

Perhaps the best cabin we have stayed at. The property was amazing with plenty of acreage to explore. Loved the two fire pits. Also loved the indoor fireplace which was so cozy. We caught 15lbs of trout right down the road at the trout pond. Host gets 5 stars for quick response. We will definitely like to go back.

Loved the location! Close to everything but still private. Cabin was great and had everything we needed. It rained the whole week we were there so we couldn't make use of the hot tub or fire pit but we were able to build a fire in the fire place. Note that if it's been raining you may need a four wheel drive for one spot in the driveway due to steep curve. The cabin itself was wonderful with a comfy bed and great water pressure in the shower

A beautiful rustic cabin set in a serene setting. The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. The hot tub was perfect next to the babbling stream. I highly recommend staying here. Communication with the owner was timely and welcomed. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely wonderful place! Great communication, well equipped. Nothing like sitting in a hot tub while you can hear a babbling Brook next to you and have a fire right next to you. The trout farm a mile away is a must if you like fresh rainbow trout. Will be back!

Loved it. Do not recommend coming in after dark. It can be challenging. The sign could be improved for better visibility. I felt so at home listening to the katydids at night. Reminded me of the home where I grew up in Pennsylvania.

My husband and our bulldogs and I spent the week at this cabin for our 10th wedding anniversary. We had such a great time and hardly wanted to leave the cabin. It has everything we love about the mountains. The creek that flows by it sounds lovely from the front porch and we enjoyed the firepit next to the creek many times. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We will definitely be back.

Cabin was nice and exactly as advertised as to space and most amenities. We had trouble accessing tv channels and wifi worked but was extremely slow. You could not use streaming services so computer access, Hulu, Netflix, etc wasn't available. However, with that being said - you should plan to use the cabin as a get away and not need those anyway. The driveway is hard to manipulate - if you are in a small car, I'm not sure you could get up the hill. I'm glad we were in a truck. The place was beautiful, and in a very secluded setting way off the main road. The above is not meant to be negative at all, just an FYI that if the above is important to you - and not a beautiful unique setting in the woods -

Beautiful, serene and peaceful. We needed a unwind and this place hit the mark. Playing games and hanging out. The fire pit and hot tub were favorites of ours. Great place to just hang loose or a 15 minute drive to town. The farmers market at Darrell's farm was really close as well.

This is a gorgeous property and I'm sure we would have had a spectacular time if we hadn't been caught in the path of hurricane Helene. I will say, if we had to be stuck somewhere, Serenity Falls was a great place to be stuck! This house is not only pretty, it's as sturdy as a tank; and, it's up on a mountain so there's no chance of flooding. Carlene was great about calling and checking on us, and she also gave us a heads up to shop for food and water and batteries before the storm hit. We did have some fun trout fishing on our first few days, and the road to Harrah's in Cherokee never closed, so that was a great rainy-day activity! We hope to make it back when there's better weather! Prayers for all of those who were impacted by this monumental storm.

Perfect, There are no words to describe the serenity of this property and cabin. We spent allot of time sitting on the bench, looking up the hill for critters and wildlife. We recommend this property for unplugging and unwinding,. 100% recomnend and we hope to book again!

The only thing we could possibly say negative. Was the grass had not been mowed. That was just us cause we take our dog for walks. And getting the cabin it hadn’t rained in a while so it was very dusty but that’s expected it being on a dirt road. Over all the stay was excellent. We got to bring my Italian Grey Hound. The cabin is definitely a cabin to rent again our next stay in Bryson. We were there for singing in the smokies. It was dusty there too. They just need rain. Thank you for our stay. This cabin was exactly what we were looking for and was exactly as described. We enjoyed the peace and quiet which allowed us to relax and unwind. Even though it was nice and secluded, location is close in proximity to Bryson City and Cherokee. Highly recommend!

The grounds of this property are by far the best we have ever experience on VRBO. There is a large fire pit area and a beautiful stream running beside the home. It is so beautiful and peaceful. The rustic (in a good way!) cabin was cozy and met all of our needs and was conveniently located.
