We stayed here with family and enjoyed the cabin and the property. The lake view is beautiful and the fire pit was great to sit at after dinner. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a family dinner. We had trouble connecting to the WiFi and therefore could not control the heating/air inside, but fortunately the night was not too cold. There was no welcome book and the password on the panel near the router did not work. We would still recommend.
The house was lovely. We enjoyed the dock and outdoor fire pit. There is a fireplace inside but it was summer so we didn’t need that. No toaster. It was a great experience and we would definitely use this again if it is available for our yearly family reunion.
everything about this house was perfect for us. We had six adults and two small kids. The floor plan is laid out perfect for kids to get around. The back porch was very spacious and had lots of seating. Tboat dock was great for fishing and swimming, and docking our boat. The walk from the house to the dock was awesome...not very far at all, and just a slight incline going up...we never ran out of breath walking back from the dock to the house. the AC was great, as were the beds and the living room furniture. It was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with toiletry items, washing machine pods and dish washer pods. We will definitely plan on staying here again in the future.
Great spot for family fun! The dock was great for fishing and parking a boat. We enjoyed spending time together and ate all of our meals on the back porch. Loved having the washer/ dryer and the beds were comfy. We enjoyed our family vacation to Lake Oconee.
Had everything you need and Rachel had the place cleaned top to bottom. Very clean and beautiful lake views. We will be back in the future for a longer stay.
The idea of a cabin in the woods was great and enjoyed the lakefront setting but the home was not very clean and the grills were a mess canoe had no paddles just a little stuff I would say needs attention
The idea of the lake house and the outside work that has been done to the house is great. At some point it will be very good, but not now. The inside of the house was not very clean, nor the beautiful deck out back. Windows, kitchen, lighting, overall the inside felt dirty. The grills are disgusting the lights down to the lake were mostly broken and knocked on their side. Deck was very dirty. We did have a very good time. Felt it was to expensive for what they are offering at this time.
This property would be wonderful if they could take care of their infestation of pests. This would include mice droppings in the kitchen and floors, live mice, and roaches. We were saddened to find the droppings the first night in the kitchen drawer under the stove. Then we found a lot more under the sink and along the floor edges. Then we saw a live one that night and it ran under a locked closet door in the master bedroom. We had to email pictures to prove that there were mice feces. The anxiety of staying where mice were was terrible. Especially with children under the age of 2. The rental company was finally able to get an exterminator and cleaning crew out by Tuesday. We arrived Sunday and the company had no other properties that were available. This was our planned vacation so there was nowhere else for us to go except cancel our family vacation and go home. We stayed but were told we would be compensated for this inconvenience. We checked out two days ago and I have had to call the rental company daily to see what they will do to compensate. The last we have heard is that the rental company is trying to contact the owner. I have never had this experience before nor would I want another family to have this same experience. I do hope we are able to be compensated for this inconvenience and they are able to take care of their issues. The night before we left we saw another live mouse in the house.
