Great location. Great time fishing and 4wheeling. Master bedroom mattress was horribly uncomfortable. Woke up repeatedly throughout the night and with back pain each morning. You can even see the impressions in the mattress where 2 bodies sleep. Couches are dirty. Washing machine did not work when we were relying on it. No water to it. Difficulty reaching the guest contact for concerns during our stay.
My family loved the cabin. It was cozy and clean. We really enjoyed the pool table and games left by the host. We also enjoyed using the fire pit and making s’mores. It was a nice quiet place to stay. Can’t wait to come back next year.
Unfortunately, our stay was cancelled an hour prior to check in. The property manager called and said the property had not been cleaned and the washing machine was broken. Because of this they would not let us check in. The property manager tried to get ahold of the owner but was unsuccessful in fixing the issues. We scrambled for hours with no help from VRBO or evolve because same day check ins on a rental booking is not allowed. Thankful to another rental company for coming in last minute or else we would have had no where to stay.
We stay for Christmas weekend, we arrive to the cabin and the cabin not was ready to rent, the Landry not clean ,they have plumbing problems so the cabin smells like poop ,yes poop ,the toilet was plug, they have only 4 towel for 8 people, the heat done stairs is not working, really bad ,we contacted the cleaning people and the say that cabin is not ready to rent i call the Vrbo to tell about the problem, i need my money back and they not responsible for that the only give 480$ ,i was pay 1897$ ,Don't rent this cabin ,and never use Vrbo the don't care for anything
House was clean and cozy. Well appointed and plenty of room. I would def stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin during our family trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. The property is exactly as described. We had many deer sightings in the surrounding area. It was amazing seeing the fall foliage. We wish we could have stayed there longer. Thank you!
The cabin was very easy to get to. Location was beautiful without any other cabins in site. Close to 14/89 as well as Duck Creek Village. No issues with any appliances, etc. The only thing was that there was only one Towel in the place. We decide it was ok because we were only there two nights, otherwise we would have called.
Location is great and close to town. Nestled by tons of trees and you can hear the creek in the morning. It was a really nice time for my wife our 2 boys and I. Go have a great time! You can go to many of the national parks surrounding you or head to Navajo lake which we did multiple times. House really had everything you need and than some!
This was a great cabin for two adults and two teens, about an hour, easy drive to both Bryce and Zion. The cabin itself was really clean and had almost everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner (lunch was out on hikes). One thing I felt it could have used was a griddle or large pan to make pancakes, which I suggested while we were there for anyone coming after us. We very much enjoyed the wrap around porch, and the fire pit at night under the stars was perfect. As an FYI the driveway is a somewhat steep u-shape, but is flat where you would actually park and unload. Not really room for more than 2 cars/suv though depending on size. For reference we had a Grand Cherokee and probably 2 would fit fine. I have to mention before the trip I reached out to the property manager Leandra with some questions, and she could not have been more helpful and went out of her way to be at the property and call me on the obit so she could answer my questions in real time and ask if there was anything else we needed like extras towels, etc. Amazing. Also, our first day there the water heater went out, and it was fixed by the time we got back from hiking on day 2. Overall we were impressed with this property and it’s management. Would highly recommend staying here, we had an awesome trip.
Great location
Quiet nice location. Cabin was roomy and beautiful views from deck. A few suggestions: mattress pads, more pillows, kitchen items (2 larger skillets, set of mixing bowls, a couple serving bowls, plastic glasses or solo cups, larger measuring cup), and a few plastic stackable chairs for the deck.
The cabin is quite and rustic. The kitchen needs a lot of help as far as restocking cooking pots ,pans ,cooking utensils and towels There was only 2 worn out small pots and 2 small kitchen towels. There was no pot holders . The bathrooms need more towels. The window screens in the loft are loose and you can not leave the windows open otherwise you get mosquitoes in the house. The gas tanks for the grill were empty. We only did one grilling and ran out of gas. The rule regarding the dishwasher being ran and emptied prior to checkout is problematic since you are supposed to check out at 10 am. We called the manager and explained that we had to get on the road since we had a long trip ahead of us. She was very nice and agreed to let us leave . We appreciated her cooperation.
Had some trouble finder cabin. Roads are dusty. The cabin was lovely great porch. Good kitchen. Bath rooms could use a bit of updating. We had a very good time !!!
Beautiful cabin in great location in duck Creek. As mentioned in the post, road in is a little rough but definitely passable from any direction - someone in our party had no issues in a Carrolla. House is gorgeous, perched high up with great views. Great well water, quiet, peaceful and comfy on cold spring nights. Biggest impeovemt needed is the beds. They are awful. This is mentioned in multiple other reviews and you really should fix it. Kitchen also needs some additional large pots and pans - it was difficult to cook for the group on the tiny provided cookware. Few furniture additions would make the place much nicer inside and out. Otherwise had a really great 9 night stay.
Wonderful, quiet place. Took my parents on vacation and it was a perfect, remote spot. Place was beautiful with great amenities. Saw lots of wildlife throughout Duck Creek and people in the village were very friendly. Beautiful views from the deck and star gazing at night was mind-blowing. Would definitely return.
House was nice clean, quiet and had good scenery. The only improvement if any would be the lighting. Could use brighter bulbs.
