This cabin is exactly what the pictures and description portray. Perfectly clean inside, cozy and well appointed, kitchen was stocked with appliances and everything we needed to cook and eat, gorgeous views, and close to groceries and shopping. Communication with the owner and manager was easy and they were quick with replies. We had a wonderful time and will absolutely come back again!
Very much enjoyed our stay! Cabin was very clean and had great amenities. Kitchen was well supplied and had updated appliances. Living area had large right angle couch for everyone to sit and enjoy the fireplace. Bedrooms downstairs were also very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the private hot tub and the beautiful large pines in the backyard. Would highly recommended!
I enjoyed my stay very much! I stayed during the hurricane rains so I didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub but the place was fantastic. I would stay again and highly recommended!!
Yard is completely overgrown making it unusable and unsafe for kids and dogs. There was a coyote feet away from me hiding in the brush that I couldn’t see until he walked out of the brush, that’s how high it the brush is in the yard. The home was also very dusty and seemed the beds had not been washed after last guest.
We arrived Friday afternoon and were welcomed very quickly. The cabin was well furnished and well kept. Only one suggestion. The outside railing on the porch needs some TLC. Other than that nice place to stay
This place is so misleading and dangerous as soon as you walk in the steps are squeaking and wobbling which is a big hazard and when we went to the balcony the railing was literally so dangling I felt like I was going to fall over and the yard had not been maintained either the grass was so tall I would never come back here again
This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. It was nice having 2 separate living rooms so the kids could watch their own programs downstairs (loved the Netflix and Disney+ access). The yard was huge and sloped (perfect for using the 3 sleds provided) and with the balcony and ample windows it made watching the kids play in the yard easy! The cabin came with a lot of little extra things like a snow shovel, cascade for the dishwasher, extra pillows/blankets, hooks for towels by the spa etc. The kitchen had newer matching dishes/glasses and cookware which made it feel higher end. The water also got scalding hot, which is nice to sanitize the dishes in the massive farmhouse sink! The beds were comfy and cozy with duvets and extra blankets. The “Nest” thermostat made keeping the cabin warm easy. Loved the full size, new, washer/dryer. Nice to be able to clean all our laundry including the heavy snow pants/jackets. The closet had a bunch of games which we played and that was cool. The spa was fun to use in the winter, but hadn't been cleaned in a while and had a mildew smell to it (probably due to the cover trapping hot steam during winter). It wasn't a big deal for us and we showered after. My only complaint was not having a wide enough/weighted shower curtain. The water pressure is amazing, but it blew the flimsy curtain all around spraying water out the gaps in the side. The floor was soaked and we had to sacrifice a towel to mop up every time. Also, the bath mats were plush, but looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed or washed in a long time. Would’ve preferred a thinner, easy to wash mat. Honestly, if we stayed again, I would just buy my own shower curtain for the trip. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!
My family really enjoyed this cabin! We come up every Thanksgiving and Moonridge is our favorite location. This cabin was in a great spot! Close to the zoo and we even walked to get donuts one morning. They had all the necessities would could ask for! We loved using the jacuzzi every night under the stars and the yard was huge! Perfect enough for our dog to run around. Our boys enjoyed having 2 smart TVs so we could watch movies every night. Check in was super easy and if I had any questions, they were answered immediately. We would definitely use this cabin again.
We had a lovely stay with all the necessities. The cabin was in a perfect location, close by markets, marina, and quick drive to hiking trails.
We loved staying in the big bear home with hot tub! The furniture was comfortable and sturdy, and the house was very clean and well-maintained. There was lots of snuggly blankets around too which I always appreciate. We had everything we needed and the house was close to shopping and activities. Communication was easy with the host and we had an all around positive experience.
We had a wonderful stay at this cute cabin! It had literally everything to meet our needs as a family of 6, and the location was fantastic—just minutes from Big Bear Ski Resort. The toys and games, little sledding hill behind the house, and bedroom setup were perfect for our kids. The kitchen was fully stocked with beautiful dishes/pots/pans, and it was a joy to cook in. We truly appreciated all the amenities from the excellent water pressure and heating to the soft blankets and games. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for the wonderful weekend!
