Peaceful Lake Retreat!!

We had such a wonderful autumn stay! The cabin was spotless and very cozy — the perfect place to relax and unwind. The large yard was ideal for our kids and dog to run around and play, and the lake was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. We’d happily stay here again!

We had a wonderful week! The weather was beautiful and the lake calm and refreshing. Check in was easy, as was communication with Lynne. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was great with nice appliances to use. Lots of catch and release fun off the dock. We hope to return again.

This was our second stay with Lynne at the lake house and we couldn't be happier! The place is well stocked with everything you need, very clean, and perfect for a family getaway. We spent our time at the lake swimming, paddle boating, and relaxing in the sun. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for our large family and communication with Lynne is a breeze. We're looking forward to coming back next year!

The house, including the kitchen is well furnished with everything you need. Excellent A/C, appliances, and water. Great enclosed and outside patios. The enclosed patio windows and door have full screens.The house property is beautiful, private, and well cared for. Excellent L-shaped dock with bench. 2 canoes plus a paddle boat with life jackets, paddles, etc. are included. The hosts have thought of everything and are easy to communicate with.We plan to rent again!

Check in was great and all the communication prior with Lynne was wonderful. The house and location were exactly what we wanted. Secluded but close to town. We had a group of kids and adults and it was perfect for our needs. Thanks for letting us rent your beautiful property!

We had a fabulous time relaxing, canoeing, adventuring. Such a nice kitchen, and the porch is amazing for when the bugs might be too bad for the patio. Our time couldn’t have been better.

This is our fifth stay at the lake house. We only brought our personal items and food. Everything else was provided. It was a little cooler this trip so we really enjoyed the fireplace. Our dog loved sitting on the dock just taking in the views. He also loved swimming in the lake. We’ll be back for our sixth stay.

We love this cabin and location so much, we booked two stays this year! The cabin is the perfect combination of quaint/modern, comfortable, well-equipped, and located on a quiet lake, surrounded by beauty and wildlife. We look forward to returning next year. Beautiful place on the end of a dirt road. Cabin size was perfect for our family. Just pack a bag and head up there, everything you need is there!

$3,300 for the week and we had mice in the cabin! Saw one in the bedroom and mice droppings in several places! We went out and bought mice traps! Totally unacceptable!

If I could give 6 stars out of 5 on all of these categories I would! Our group was continuously blown away by the comfort and care put into this home and the experience for the guests from our hosts! The layout of this home is perfect for a group of friends or family to move from the cozy living room, into the inviting porch, out onto the patio to grill for dinner, and then down to the dock and lake for swimming! The inside was PERFECTLY clean which made check-in and getting settled so easy and comfortable. The guest rooms including the beds and linens were abundant and cozy. We all got great sleep and some of us slept in later than we ever have with the blackout shades down. We weren’t even 2 nights into our stay before we were texting Lynne asking to extend our booking! We can’t wait to return! The only negative is that the home is too comfy so we never wanted to leave and get out and explore Crosby and Crosslake nearby :) Can’t recommend this stay enough! Quiet well maintained property within steps of lake. Appreciated bug sprays and firewood for nightly bonfires. Highly recommend!

We stayed with our family and absolutely loved everything about this cabin and property! The location is perfect, providing privacy and a large backyard for playing games and campfires. The fishing was great, and our kids loved swimming in the lake!

This was a great stay for my family and I, including 4 adults and 3 kids. The property was perfect size, large back for the kids to run around, comfortable beds, and everything you need for a week's getaway. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and quick to respond. We would love to come back again next year!

I was looking to get out of the city to reconnect with myself and nature. This cabin is one of my favorite places on earth and only 2.5 hours from Minneapolis. If you are looking for a peaceful lake-life experience, this spot can't be beat. The cabin is comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, modern, yet has rustic vibes. Lynne, the host, is responsive and easy to work with. I look forward to my next stay!

Location of lake home is perfect for a quiet week away. The screened in porch is wonderful for looking out over the lake. Our dog loved swimming in the lake and watching all the fish around the dock. The yard was perfect for playing fetch too. We enjoyed watching the geese, ducks and ground squirrels. We’re already planning our next trip to the lake house.
