LOCATION- Please note this is a standalone cabin in the woods, in the mountains- this is not a 5* resort complex with 24/7 assistance and service. Occasional power outages may occur on the mountain (especially during snow fall) and usually get taken care of by the electricity company within a few hours.
***WINTER SEASON IS NOVEMBER THROUGH APRIL***
Elevation of Duck Creek is about 8500' and all the roads to the cabins are dirt or gravel. In the winter time (November through April) 4 wheel drive is required in all areas. We suggest bringing snow chains just in case.
Before traveling please ensure you check the weather forecast and AVOID TRAVELING DURING WINTER STORMS at all cost.
You can download an app which gives you live road conditions (i.e. UDot).
Main streets are plowed during the day but keep in mind if it snows you will be still driving on snow covered gravel roads and they may be slippery.
Please ensure you park your car to the left of the red shed so the snow plow company has full access in case we need to have them come and plow driveway. Snow removal on the deck, to and around your car can be booked with advance notice for additional fee.
One of the best Cabins! Great floor plan, high ceiling, large living room with elegant decoration. Full kitchen, nice bathroom, comfortable beds.....Love the front yard and backyard sitting area...easy parking....really enjoy it. Thank you Silvia for offering us such pleasant place for our vacation.
Fun & quaint cabin. Great getaway location. Loved it!
The cabin is nice, the duck creek village is pleasant too. The only concern was there are only 4 chairs at the table and only 4 towels but we were 6 persons.
We had a great stay here! Perfectly situated between Zion and Bryce Canyon. An hour away from Cedar City. Peaceful and quiet with unbelievable starry nights next to the coziness of a campfire. Highly recommend!
Did Arches, Canyonland, Capital Reef, Bryce and Zion. This stop was our last leg. Closer to Bryce than Zion but doable. Did some hiking and geocaching in the area (between rainfall). Played lots of cards and enjoyed the streaming on television. Good ending to our trip. Going to do more hiking on our way back to Michigan. Enjoyed some visiting deer ?
Very nice place, will stay again
We were going around Utah and had a one night stay at this property. All was great, and we had a wonderful time.
My family loved the cabin as it was perfect for the 3 of us. The cabin was well furnished and very clean. Check in and check out was very simple. Would highly recommend this cabin for family if 4 or 5.
Cabin was exactly as described. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this property for a mountain getaway. Thank you!
The cabin was awesome. Grandkids enjoyed the play room. Nice a quite and clean. The property manager was very helpful. I will be going back soon
Amazing cabin super clean :)
My husband & I drove from Florida to hike/visit Bryce & Zion. Hard to plan too many days out, as the dates got closer the temperatures were dropping. We we’re going to tent camp but temps were going below zero.I went on VRBO and found this cabin in Duck Creek Village. Clean, cozy and comfortable!! The road up is “rustic”, glad we had 4wd. My husband even said he would come back and stay here again!
A lovely little cabin stay!
The cabin was great, we stayed during a snow storm and the pellet stove kept the cabin toasty and cozy. The kids had so much fun playing in the snow and with the fooseball table, they really enjoyed having their own space upstairs. We are looking forward to staying again when there's hopefully less than 6ft of snow on the ground ?
What a great family trip. We had a wonderful time as a couple and our kids had their own fun despite being very different ages. There's a little something for everyone in this cozy neck of the woods. The host is excellent as well. Great communication and support. If I could rate the host I would give them five stars as well.
Outstanding property and fit all of us comfortably. Clean and had all necessities throughout. Recommended!
Great cabin, comfortable, and in a great location for the hikes and side trips we took in the area. Beautiful neighborhood.
Really nice cabin we had a great time with my family.
Our stay was absolutely amazing it was a beautiful little cabin. There were a couple lights that were out and the guest before us didn’t empty the coffee grounds out of the coffee maker so there was some mold growing but we emptied it and cleaned real good before we used it and and we made sure it was clean for the next guest. But it was a beautiful cabin and we definitely stay here again and will recommend this cabin to other people.
Such a quaint cabin surrounded by beautiful trees. Our two kids loved playing outside the cabin and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. This cabin came with all the things we needed to make or trip feel like home. Will be staying here again in the near future and highly recommend. Thank you!! :)
We wanted a quiet getaway from the city and this was just what we needed.
