Peaceful Cabin: Vintage Stove, Hot Tub, Walk To Town!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was ok, nothing special. Very quiet area. Shower extremely small. Lower level, dogs har in the sink. In the picture it doesn’t show that is a split level, also is not clear tha the small kicker is in the bedroom.bittim line I will not going back in the same house again.

Overall, okay stay. The beds were grossly uncomfortable Even my athlete teens backs hurt - they slept on the floor, I slept on the couch. House could have been cleaner, the back patio was filthy. The range/ microwave was broken, so that meant that the vent wasn't working, SOOO, the fire alarm would go off every time we cooked. Hot tub/ sauna/ chill tub - were all great to have. Though it would have been nice to know the pool guy was coming rather then get a shock of a stranger on the patio.

Important to note the second bedroom access is outside on the lower deck.

This is a very cozy cabin with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen, but there were some things that were not perfect and made me give the place only three stars: (1) the water in the hot tub doesn't get warmer than 92 deg (!), so I wouldn't say the property has a functioning hot tub; (2) no schapoo in the shower; (3) the cheapest kind of soap and also, (4) the management could have done a better job with the cleaing- the bathroom rugs were filthy and the floors and floor boards had not been cleaned anytime recently. The last thing I would mention is that this is advertised as practically in the center of town, which it is not. It takes 5 min to drive to the center and about 20 min to walk. All in all though, we did have a wonderful stay and I think if the hot tub had been working properly and the place had been clean, I would have given it 5 stars.

Nice place. Unusual layout. Basically a studio apartment upstairs, a motel room on the ground floor, and an open-air game room in the basement, with no inside stairs or halls. Unusual, but ok. Nice jacuzzi, comfortable beds, and peaceful. Small glitch - check in email was sent to wrong address. Slowed check in.

As others have discussed this is two studios one on each floor. We just used the main top floor. Bed is in living area. It has a streaming TV with Netflix etc. There is no longer a sofa but two chairs. A small very well equipped (all cookware, utensils, spices, etc ) kitchen. The highlight is the downstairs deck and jacuzzi (which you must access by exiting the unit and going downstairs). The jacuzzi is awesome and has a gazebo type cover. There is a small electric grill fine for a few burgers. And plenty of outside dining room. The location is great, a 3 minute drive to town or a 15ish minute walk. It’s very quiet and we saw birds and rabbits from jacuzzi. The bathroom is small and not modern and the shower is a little tight. There is also an electric fireplace which would be nice on cooler days/nights.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had originally booked a 2 & 2 with jacuzzi, however the day of the trip we were notified of a jacuzzi issue. New Spirit offered a similar property. The only downside of the other property was that the upstairs & downstairs were not accessible from the interior, so we had to go outside in the rain to get downstairs. Also, there were no shower amenities such as shampoo or soap.
