Peaceful area, stunning views
This rustic cabin is set on the edge of Eastsound facing the sunrise. It's quiet and cozy. Loved sipping my tea and watching the sun rise over the mountain across Eastsound, ahhhhh.
Wonderful and peaceful experience. Gorgeous setting. This property is not for people desiring luxury or high class amenities. It's exactly as advertised. And I loved every minute spent at this beautiful location.
This cabin is in the perfect spot! You are ON the water and a short drive to Eastsound. Just a lovely little neighborhood. As a STR owner myself, I would probably update some things, but it is as advertised. It is an older cabin and there were no surprises for us from the listing. The sulphur smell was quite strong, but we knew that would be the case going in. Overall, I think the place would benefit from a purifier attachment to the shower, some updated ceiling paint, updated kitchen wares, etc... but I gave the full five stars because it was as listed. And again you won't beat the location and price!
Great little cabin with a perfect view and location! We loved this place. Not fancy, but comfortable bed, great kitchen, and the view is spectacular! Our only complaint would be that the futons in the living room were not very comfortable to sit in. We will come back to this place again!
I love the rustic charm and can tolerate minimal amenities but the mattress sucks! You can feel the springs (since they don’t make beds with springs any longer, that’s a clue how old it is). Spring for a memory foam. They’re only a few hundred dollars and your guests will give 5 star ratings
Amazing spot for a great, peaceful get away! The cabin is secluded and quiet and has everything you need. The view is amazing! Perfect spot to recharge!
A beautiful little cabin. Woke up with sun coming thru the windows, on the whole front of the house. Views of the East Sound from the deck.
Really enjoyed the rustic cabin vibe and the beautiful views. A short drive from the downtown area. Had a great time exploring the tide pools and putting my feet in the water at the private beach. The sulfur water was great for showering but we brought our own water for drinking. All around great stay. Will book this again.
We had a perfect peaceful weekend away here. It's rustic but we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sulfur in the water felt nice for my skin and hair. We brought separate drinking water. We hope to return next year.
I will say it is so terrible because I want it all to myself.
Loved this private and peaceful cabin! The view was wonderful, the tide pools were great for exploring, and the cabin had everything we needed for a few nights stay. Central location to the ferry and restaurants/ activities near East Sound. We brought our own drinking water out of personal choice but really it would have been fine. Definitely would stay again.
We were a bit weary due to some past reviews of this cabin, but needed a spot last minute and this fit the location and price we were looking for. It did not disappoint!! If you’re expecting 5-star, luxury surroundings, you will be disappointed, because this is not that. But it was cozy and in the perfect location right near the water! The walking paths out to the water were absolutely adorable. The fire pit outside was so fun. The wood stove inside was also wonderful because it got kind of chilly at night (get extra firewood from store beforehand!). If you want a very cozy, minimal, simple spot to camp with a coupon or small family in a pristine location for an amazing price- this is your spot! The only things we wish this cabin had were bath mats for the floor in the bathroom, binoculars and possible a comfier mattress (we ended up sleeping on the softer couch fotons). The sulfur in the water was interesting… but not terrible- our hair has never been softer! And the water was always hot and lovely. Thank you!
Floors were dirty, musty smell, bungee cords in refrigerator, screw held door shut in shower…really? The owners can’t fix this Bed was really very hard and all the pillows were flat. The area was very beautiful and peaceful loved going down to the water every morning and watching the otters play.
