Stayed Mar 22, 2024Nestled amidst the serene mountains of Bryson City, North Carolina, the Patriot's Point Secluded Vacation Escape is an absolute gem of a cabin retreat. From the moment you arrive, you're enveloped in the tranquility of nature, with nothing but the gentle rustle of leaves and the distant chirping of birds to interrupt the peaceful ambiance. The cabin's secluded location is truly its greatest asset. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life, it offers a welcome respite from the stresses of everyday routine. As you step onto the spacious deck, you're greeted by breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, their peaks seemingly reaching for the sky. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee as the sun rises over the horizon or unwinding with a glass of wine as dusk settles in, the vista from the cabin never fails to captivate. Inside, the cabin exudes rustic charm, with cozy furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout. The open-concept living area is perfect for gathering with loved ones, whether you're curled up by the fireplace with a good book or sharing stories around the dining table. And when it's time to retire for the night, the comfortable bedrooms provide a peaceful haven for a restful night's sleep. But perhaps the best part of staying at Patriot's Point is the opportunity to reconnect with nature. With miles of hiking trails right at your doorstep, you can spend your days exploring the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, from cascading waterfalls

Stayed Dec 6, 2024I have stayed in a lot of VRBO's and overall this place is as advertised. The beds were decently comfortable and the layout worked for my group of 4 adults and two children including my parents who are in their 70's. However, we were disappointed in some of the overall amenities provided. We found the pans lacking and very disorganized, we did not have salt (which seems an essential) and there were no sponges provided to clean dishes. I suggest bringing a box of essentials with you to this rental. Finally, while this was due to weather the split unit downstairs does not work well. The first night the room was VERY cold. We did contact the management company the second day and they agreed to bring out space heaters but we were able to find some before they needed to arrive. To my knowledge they are going to have the split unit checked. Overall, it was a nice place just missing a few expected amenities. Also, keep in mind the road is steep to the house and it is fairly remote!

Stayed Dec 2, 2022We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house for a long weekend. The beds are comfortable, house is clean and had everything we needed (towels, blankets, kitchen tools). The hot tub was a great addition for the kids on a rainy day. The location is about 15 mins from downtown Bryson City. The first 10 are all for getting down the mountain! This property is high up, making for beautiful views. The road up is quite steep but manageable (I have a Tahoe) and well maintained. Overall, we really enjoyed the house and would certainly stay there again!

Stayed Nov 5, 2021Cabin is 15 minutes from Main Street in Bryson City and maybe 25 minutes from the NOC. We went to both places and did some fishing on the Nantahala, so it was great for us. Cabin was nice with really great views. Loved waking up in the loft to the huge open windows with Mountain View’s. Hot tub was nice and definitely a great way to relax. Also had lots of porch and deck space. Road to and from was narrow and steep, but we have a 4WD so I wasn’t really worried. I would recommend this cabin to anyone!
