'Paradise Cove' Cabin w/ Boathouse & Dock

The interior of the cabin was cute and nice. On the outside it was not as cute. The condition of the property was not typical of the area and was not appealing. The primary reason we rented this spot was for the boathouse and dock, however, neither was usable. The inlet was inundated with eel grass, which is a common problem on the lake, there were numerous large logs in the water around the boat house, more than half the dock was roped off because the boards were rotten and unsafe and there was no way to tie a boat to the dock. As such, we were forced to trailer our boat back and forth. We realize the eel grass is a common problem but had we known it made the use of the advertised facilities unusable, we would have looked elsewhere. The trailer entrance was sketchy, at best and was a challenge with a 22 ft pontoon boat. Had it rained at any point, I'm not sure the entrance would have been usable.

Great location. Use of boat house was very convenient. Small, but very efficient use of space and did not seem crowded. Hope to make a trip again soon!

Everything was great including Andy. We brought two boats and were able to charge the batteries just fine but be sure to bring extension cords with multi plugs. The boat house was nice but did have some floating grass blown into it. I removed it anticipating possibly using it during the fishing tournament but the grass was back the next day almost as bad. Nothing the owner can do about it and there are no complaints concerning the boat house. The road which the cabin is located on is quite curvy and hilly especially while pulling a boat.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, cozy, and well-equipped the home was. The decor was warm and inviting, and the space had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The highlight, of course, was the lake access—just a short walk from the door! We spent our afternoons fishing and enjoying the view. The host was friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. The location is quiet and secluded, but still close enough to town for groceries and restaurants.We can’t wait to come back in the fall. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind by the water!

Property was very private and cabin had everything we needed and cute. Andy was very nice and accommodating.

Definitely upgraded since 2021 our previous stay. Steps and lights made easier to get to boat house which made it great having our boat on the lake. Long curvy road only negative. That said, certainly would stay there again. Owner accommodating for our unexpected late arrival.

The cottage was great, we did not use the boat house due to the inclement weather right after we arrived.

Little cozy guest house about 75yds up the driveway from owners main house. Had a U- shaped drive for boat trailer. Maybe could fit two but definitely one. Very convenient. Host very nice. Perfect little house for single or a couples fishing trip. Boat house was awesome! Wasn’t bad during my stay. But weeds and bushes have potential to take over walkway down to lake. Other than that. Zero complaints. Dock in cove off main river channel. Was a very pleasant experience.

We had a great time. The majority of our time was spent on the boat fishing.

Arriving at the cabin, we were met by the awesome owner Andy. Everything was clean, neat and ready to go. A little disappointed that i couldn't see the lake, but i knew it was there. Felt right at home from the get go. Andy showed me around the property, including the boathouse. Convenient parking, lots of woods, and good outdoor lighting. Wish i could have stayed a few more days. Awesome.
