Thank you for an incredibly wonderful outdoor experience. Your place is THE DESTINATION!  We went riding on your trails and then our big ride out on the state trails, we only had to unpack our ATV’s the one time right at the cabin, tons of parking, and could get to all the trails we needed straight from the cabin, how refreshing! We had a great time!! The cabin was so clean and very cozy and welcoming after a hard days ride. The kitchen had everything we needed. The property grounds were better than we had thought. We had everything we needed for an easy stay. Thanks to Susan for giving me info about our stay, she is a great communicator. We can’t wait to come back again!
We needed to go off the grid, and we were able to do just that. Incredibly beautiful property, with lots to explore. Cabin was quiet, cute, comfy, and absolutely charming. We took our 3-year old shepherd up for his first vacation, and he had the time of his life. Cannot wait to be back! Thank you to the Metcalfe’s!
Acreage outside of cabin location was nice but cabin area needs maintenance attention. Weeds and grass was knee high around cabin. The dog fenced area was thigh high grass. No fire pit area. Had to move the fire cylinders around to build fire. The camp chairs at property were dirty and not sturdy. There was a plastic picnic table that we were able to drag out of the weeds to sit on. Inside the cabin furnishings were nice but there were spider and cob webs on fans and on floors. There is also no tv…so be prepared to bring one. Reached out to homeowner regarding our disappointment of the cabin area and never received a response.
Susan is very friendly and cabin in very nice
Great property with plenty of hiking trails and easy access to ovr trail/route. Cabin was cozy and meets all your basic needs.
If you want quiet and private this is it. It has the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen. We needed nothing. Susan is great to work with. She is great to communicate with. She also furnishes real toilet paper. Thank you Susan.
Rented for the property so my girls could ride their quads and dirt bikes. Trails were awesome and we enjoyed being outdoors ? owners were very helpful. Inside of cabin was very clean, beds super comfy. Note that 2nd bedroom no longer has bunk beds so one kid slept on couch, had I known I would if brought air mattress. Definitely plan on another visit next summer.
The host was so helpful and thoughtful in thinking of things to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing- it really felt like a cozy home away from home with all the conveniences but none of the stress! The hosts have made sure to provide just about everything that you probably forgot to pack! It was so lovely getting to roam around the trails and seeing the different wildlife. Would love to visit again!
The cabin is in a heavily wooded area and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating.
The owners were very accommodating and generous. The trails were so beautiful, the cabin was perfect for what we needed.
