This property is easy to get to with easy parking. It is very close to downtown so you are not driving a long time each time you are going to do something.

The floor was coming up, the hot tub did not get hot, the sink still had food in it, and there was hair on the master bathroom pillow

For starters the hot tub was like warm, and wouldn't get hot. The king size bed wasn't made up right, and ever time you set or laid down on it it squeak. The porch squeakd when you walked across it .The furniture (recliner's) you had to put a pillow under you or your sitting on boards. For the price it should've been better.

The light coming in the bedroom from the window by the ceiling was way too bright to try to sleep, and it was double bright because it bounced off the double doors with mirrors. The laminate floors were not glued down so the floor was weird to walk on and loud. The bed was the noisiest bed I've ever slept on. The stove was very outdated. The porch looks like it's just one heavy person away from falling apart from the wood rot. The doors were covered in mold. The walk in shower was awesome but the glass doors were uneven and we were still afraid we would break the glass when we closed the doors. The jacuzzi size was great. No easy way to remove them cover. Thank God my husband is strong. The floors were very dirty, out feet would be filthy from walking around barefoot. When we first arrived we noticed hair on there furniture. We use half a roll of a sticky roller just to remove all the pet and human hair. The recliners sunk in, were covered with hair and one didn't recline. We didn't even want to sit in them. Overall, it looks nice from the outside, some things are updated but some things need updated.

First, the extra fees were excessive. The floor was bucked in several places—enough to lose your balance if you’re not careful. My husband almost fell. Reported it, but was told it was supposed to be that way. The inside was clean, but the outside was filthy. Location was good. Felt that Heritage rentals and Eagle Rentals was not very honest.

The inside of the house was clean but the outside needed maintenance such as rotting wood, rusted railings, etc. The inside although clean has issues as well. The vinyl wood look flooring is bulging up in several places thoughout the living room. Cooling is slow as there is only 2 registers at one end of the living, dining, kitchen combination room, the one in the kitchen has been covered up by the vinyl flooring. Nothing in the kitchen such as salt, pepper or even coffee filters, was adequately stocked with dishes, pot and pans. The back deck is not covered neither is the hot tub which has no privacy. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was good. The washer and dryer were clean but extremely slow in washing and drying 1 load of clothes, both have problems, the washer doesn't extract water very well and the dryer takes forever to dry a load, both were very noisy and squealed. Maintenance response time for the cooling issue was great. Note: We had the impression from the listing that this was owner operated but it is managed by a very well run management company, we just prefer to book with owner operated cabins.

I tend to be a very picky person and it takes me a while to find a place to stay for trips because I want certain things available and sometimes pictures don't always do places justice. When I looked at this cabin the pricing was great but it looked a lot smaller than what it actually was. I was looking for a place that was closer to Gatlinburg but still close enough to the attractions in Pigeon Forge. I also wanted to stay somewhere that had a beautiful view but that wasn't extremely high on the mountain because it was winter and I was driving in my car. These pictures nor reviews do not do this place justice. I was a little hesitant to book because of some of the sour reviews on this place and when I got there the things some of the past guests said was the first things I check. (They had been fixed) This place was amazing! It was very cozy, we stayed in the 2 person jacuzzi bathtub most of the time! The place was so much more updated and better than the pictures perceived. On our third night of staying, we had an issue with our door lock and we called the office, within minutes, we had maintenance there to fix it. Check in and out was fast and great. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows for our 5-day stay. This place was also centered in-between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, which is right where we wanted. The view was beautiful but wasn't to high up. The Wi-Fi was fast and the beds and all the pillows were so comfortable. (We even went online when we got home to purchase the same brands they had, lol) I really just can not brag enough about this cabin and Eagle Property Management! They will be my go-to for our trips in Gatlinburg from now on and I will probably be back at this same exact place this summer for our next visit.

I should have listened to the reviews. I say fairly clean because overall the unit was clean until we started setting up the pullout sofa and got dirty blankets out of the closet. Major problem, toilet in master bath would not flush. Reported to office and that problem was resolved. Toilet in second bath had to be plunged twice during stay (not from anything we did, simple #1). Bath/shower in second bath is slow to drain also leading me to think there are drainage issues. The pull out sofa should have been replaced years ago. We had to stack up all the extra pillows on it just so our extra person could sleep on it. The wall outlets are so worn that they won't even hold a phone charger block in, literally, it just fell right out. The ceiling fan in the master needs balanced and that unbalance causes the chain to click against the fan. Hard to maintain temperature, one min the house is hot, next min it is cold. Smoke alarm went off every morning when we toasted bread, and I promise we barely browned. The dust on the central unit return was seriously uncalled for, makes me wonder about the cleaning service. I do realize that not everything can be new, but for what they are charging to stay here, some updates could be done. I do now remember why I stopped renting cabins. We will pay a little more and stay in a hotel next visit.
