The Neighborhood:

Set in Gatlinburg’s coveted Roaring Fork area, this cabin offers a rare riverside location while being only 0.9 miles from the downtown action. The iconic Roaring Fork Stream flows straight from the national park right past your deck, creating an ambient soundtrack for your stay. The area also features a trolley stop just down the street, adding even more convenience to your mountain adventures.

Getting Around:

While this cabin is walkable to downtown, we recommend having a car for exploring the national park or making grocery runs. Roads are paved with gentle inclines, and a 4x4 vehicle is suggested during rainy or winter conditions for added safety.

Other Things to Note:

• Must be 25 or older to book

• Sleeps 6 guests max

• Driveway fits 2 vehicles max

• 4x4 is recommended for exploring the Smokies or driving in winter weather

• Gas fireplace is seasonal (October–March, weather permitting)

• Coffee maker is drip-style—bring your own grounds and filters

• Charcoal grill provided—please bring charcoal/lighter

• Hot tub is cleaned, drained, and sanitized between every stay. It may need time to fully heat on check-in day

• Starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry pods are provided

• Guests agree to communicate through the website messenger, even if they initiate contact elsewhere

• Bears and all types of wildlife are very common in the area! Do not feed or bother the bears or wildlife! Please leave them alone. We have no control over wildlife. They are very protected here and part of our area. Secure your belongings and always lock vehicle doors.

• We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins.  Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife.  Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place.  It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors.  This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos.

• Being in the mountains, wind can sometimes blow leaves, dirt, or other natural debris into the hot tub. The hot tub has been drained and cleaned to ensure it’s ready for use.

We booked a last minute week long trip to Gatlinburg and what a great week it was! Despite the rain and snow, there was little to no traffic and we still were able to take in lots of fun. This cabin/home was super clean and conveniently located under a mile from the strip. The cabin was just as listed! Make sure to bring own toiletries and some extra paper goods. Plenty of blankets and pillows that kept us cozy and we loved the electric fireplace and hot tub. The beds were very comfortable as wellAnd kitchen had all we needed. We only ate out once or twice and made all of our other meals right there. The roaring river was so gorgeous and soothing to listen to. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay! We certainly will book from Kirkland again!

My wife and I really enjoyed this property. Close enough to town but yet secluded enough to have some privacy. Will defiantly stay again!!!

My family and I stayed at this beautiful cabin right on the creek for 4 nights in February 2024. The cabin itself was clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, about 5 minutes outside of Gatlinburg. My kids loved being right on the creek. Communication from the owner was top-notch. I even received an email during our stay, just checking in to see how everything was going. Highly recommended. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay!

Needed a sister trip and booked this cabin. Was exactly as described and pictured. Was very clean and well stocked even though we didn’t cook much. Would definitely stay at this cabin again. Didn’t have any problems to report but the management company was prompt with information. The only discrepancy in the description is I feel like it’s a long walk to downtown Gatlinburg.
