cozy and had everything we needed. nothing extraneous. thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed - including a new and clean sponge for the kitchen sink! and the washer and dryer came in handy too. just a lovely stay. and liz was super communicative which is very helpful. overall an amazing stay. definitely would like to return. i would only ask VRBO to correct the listing description as it states that there is a hot tub when there are none.
Place is quaint, clean, and in great area.
We stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful time with no complaints. The space was perfectly clean and spacious, and a very short drive from town. We would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the north side of Tahoe!
The cabin is really nice, clean and cosy. Kitchen fully equipped (we loved the espresso maker :-)), comfortable bed and a nice yard where we had a great and relaxing time for breakfasts and some dinner. Location is perfect, very calm and nice neighborhood and everything in King’s Beach is accessible within less than 20 minutes walk (and the nice golf restaurant at 5 minutes). A lot of hike, bike trails and water sports available. Loved it!
Very quaint. Had everything we needed for a lovely stay!
We really enjoyed our week in the cabin. It is secluded and quiet yet close to everything King's Beach has to offer. The cabin is small but is clean, well-organized and has everything you might need. The setting in the trees is great and we enjoyed hanging out in the front yard that features a chair lift swing. Our host Lisa was very kind and helpful. We would love to stay again in the future.
This was our first trip to Tahoe and we are so glad we stayed on the north side for the first half of our trip. This little cottage was perfect and in a fantastic location! Its tucked away on the owner’s property with its own driveway and there’s plenty of privacy. It’s designed like an efficiency just as the photos depict. It is a short walk to nearby eateries and the beach. There is a grocery store just around the way. It has all the amenities for cooking and even a stacked washer and dryer. They had record high temp for the summer and mid day activities were hot, but the cottage stayed cool with the help of a super quiet window unit. The bed and linens were cozy. Everything was very clean and well maintained. I’m sure this place would handle the winter well. This is a perfect couple’s retreat. We would stay here again.
Great
Overall, the property was well located and had all the necessary amenities. A perfect place for one or two people who are active during the day. The cabin is small and not really made for just hanging out during the day.
We had a wonderful time at this cabin! Came in for the end for the year holidays and couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Lake Tahoe. We were able to cook using the stay’s kitchen and utensils, walk around to local restaurants, stock up on ingredients from the local grocery market (less than a quarter mile away), and make a drive up to Tahoe Palisades to ski/board! John and Lisa were very kind and incredible hosts! I forgot my gloves in the cabin and they reached out to send them back! Look forward to staying here again!
The cabin at Tahoe Vista was perfect for our week at Lake Tahoe. The location is great – just a short walk to Kings Beach and several local restaurants. The cabin itself is small but well equipped and comfortable for the two of us. We enjoyed sitting outside in the morning with our coffee. Lisa and John are great hosts and take pride in their property and North Lake Tahoe. They gave us great hiking and day trip recommendations. We will come back.
This adorable cabin, clean and well-appointed, is perfect for 1-2 people. It is so pretty that just having breakfast there before a day of adventure is a joy. The pine wood cabin smells delicious and is set among other cabins and trees. There is literally everything you would need from a washer/dryer to clothes soap! I liked the location; it is in a quiter part of Lake Tahoe but still accessible to everything. The hosts were nice and helpful but not intrusive. I hope I can return soon!
