Very well managed property in a quiet area, nice views (from a distance) of the ocean. Cozy place with all you'd need.

Property was very well kept and had a wonderful supply of kitchen dishes and accessories. Wonderful view of the ocean and a very quiet area. Walk to ocean was nice but be prepared for the uphill trek back. Only negative was the lock box for door key was somewhat difficult to open and close. Might consider replacing.

Loved the cabin. Good set up. The deck was great and the wood stove was just right. Guess I didnt understand that the 2nd bedroom was just an office, but it works. Did not expect the owner to be in and out of the garage every day!

This lovely cabin was exceptionally clean, well maintained, tastefully appointed, and thoughtfully stocked with essentials. Host Roger was kind, flexible, and prompt to respond to questions. The view of the not-too-distant ocean and accompanying sounds were soothing and spectacular. The only caveat is that the outside stairs shown in the picture are not the ones needed to climb up to the actual living space. So seniors or those with disabilities could have challenges carrying everything up and down. [That staircase is mentioned in the full description, however] The beds are also quite high off the floor, another factor for some folks to consider. But overall, a very comfy and cozy retreat!

The host was very close by and attentive to our specific needs. It was a beautiful place. Will be back again.

Roger was an excellent and responsive host. This property is truly special, you have to be there to feel it—you can tell it was built and is maintained with such care and intention. The views are spectacular, the walk down the the ocean is lovely, the wood burning stove and fluffy bed are so cozy. Everything was really well appointed, we didn’t need to bring a lot of things. Can’t wait to visit again, a very peaceful place.

Roger is a great host - checking in on us. The home is beautiful and the setting second to none. Bed was comfy, house was comfy - and we were set up to have a lovely fire on our last night when the storm rolled in

Outstanding facilities and excellent service for our every need

The Guest House is incredibly cozy and well equipped. Walking to the beach or into Neskowin was the perfect distance. And the views were spectacular. Roger was an excellent host, too!

The cabin was clean and beautiful inside and outside. It was well-stocked in the kitchen and bathroom, and we didn’t need to bring anything for those rooms. There were extra pillows, beach towels, regular towels and wash cloths, and the beds were very comfortable. The ocean view was stunning. Our host was always available. We will continue to return to this beautiful place.

It was an amazing cabin with clear instructions and easy check in. A very relaxing weekend and we will be going back again.

Just feet from parking, take off your shoes and ascend a flight of stairs to incredible views of the ocean from bedroom, living, and dining area rooms plus an outside deck the length of this standalone living space. Well-equipped kitchen if want to cook (did not). Especially appreciated coffee and washer/dryer! Definitely now my top choice to stay when traveling central/north Oregon coast Thank you!’

Spotlessly clean, magical little cabin with an amazing view. Cozy home touches like great towels and an abundance of blankets. We loved sitting out on the porch drinking coffee and watching the birds and the waves! It was hard to leave. Roger was communicative and helpful and very nice.

The view was gorgeous and the home was very comfortable and well-appointed. Roger was accommodating with a couple of requests we had. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Lovely, well-kept property in a beautiful area. We loved having morning coffee taking in the ocean view followed by long walks on the beach. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and had a few of our meals there. It's an easy walk to town and we enjoyed being there for the farmer's market on Saturday. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Roger!

Our family enjoyed the cabin; beach was within walking distance. We had a nice dinner at the Hawk Cafe. Lincoln City was approximately 10 miles away. Pacific City was about the same for guided fishing.

The communication and check in with Roger, our host, was seamless. We easily found the property with his directions. The cabin was like a treehouse with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The layout of the cabin was excellent—it was comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning and watching the sunset in the evening—then ending the evening in front of the fireplace! We highly recommend this cabin and plan.on returning.

We've been here several times and have been completely happy. I am sure that we will return in the future.

We had a very enjoyable time. Especially the views of the ocean. Everything was neat and in order. The only issue we had was with the stairs.

Very clean and beautiful lots of windows for a big ocean view from every room. Heaven Bring a few layers for the beach even in june its chilly.

Loved the home and beach and town

It was exactly as we remembered from our last visit 7 years ago. A very relaxing vacation and all was immaculate!

The view is amazing. You can see (and hear) the ocean from every room in the front of the house and from the deck. The house is extra clean and well stocked. In other rentals, we have had to buy supplies for the kitchen and bathrooms, but this rental has everything that's needed. It's a short walk downhill to the beach in Neskowin. This is where we want to be when we come to the beach!

This is a great spot to get away. We've stayed here before, and it has never let us down! I almost hate leaving a review, because I don't want too many people finding our favorite hide away!

The property sits on a hill overlooking the ocean near Neskowin. It's a very quiet, private, well-planned layout with many windows and a deck. Spotless retreat, comfortable furniture, well-stocked with everything we needed to make four-day trip perfect. Beautiful, long walkable beaches, so unlike California' rocky beaches. We loved every minute.The owner is very accommodating and considerate. Thanks for sharing this ideal get away.

Our second stay here and was just as lovely as the first stay. The perfect place for a quiet, relaxing, ocean view get away. Always a pleasure and we look forward to going back.

Nice cabin, nice ocean view. Very steep stairs into cabin. Missed having comfortable living room seating for watching tv at night. 2nd bed not very comfortable.

Great spot, clean, well equipped, great view, super shower and comfortable beds, nice linens and last but not least amazing view.

We loved our stay. A perfect oasis on the coast. Relaxing on the deck while enjoying the sounds of the ocean and being lulled to sleep by the same. A great location for enjoying the area. Everything in the house is exactly as described. We would stay here again.

‘The Saddle’ is a perfect location for a relaxing stay at the beach, and Roger and Joan are accommodating and gracious hosts. The cabin is well-stocked and well-appointed with everything you might need. 10/10 would recommend!

Very clean and beautiful view. Property well maintained

The photos don’t do it justice. This place was very comfortable and well appointed. Roger was kind and responsive. He does stop by to greet and orient you. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach which connects with Proposal Rock and the Ghost Forest. The neighborhood felt quaint and safe. Beautiful views.

This is our fifth time staying here. We keep coming back because everything about it is great!
