Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 2 bedroom/1 bath cabin on the river. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed with 800 thread count sheets . Nearby are hiking trails, numerous beautiful waterfalls ,a casino, great places to eat and shop, Great Smokey Mountain Railroad and whitewater rafting. Or if you prefer just stay at the cabin and go fishing. Spend a relaxing evening in,build a fire in the fire pit by the river, barbecue, or just read a book by the river or in your bedroom to enjoy the soothing sound of the water. The living room is furnished with brand new sofa, bench and chair. The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped with new everything (fridge, electric burners, microwave, toaster oven, cabinets, basic utensils and cookware) etc. Bryson City is just 5 miles and Cherokee 4 miles.

Also includes towels, bedding, WiFi, cable, heating/AC and there are a few fishing poles you can use.

Location is convenient for day trips through the Great Smokey Mountains, to Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Asheville. Nearby areas to hike and enjoy nature. The central location of this property to so many cities, parks, waterfalls, etc., really is one of the most appreciated factors for our guests. See below for some example itineraries.

*Our guests recommend a day trip to go to various waterfalls and parks. In this order they visited: Tallulah Gorge State Park - deepest gorge this side of the Mississippi with a suspension bridge over the gorge/river for those brave enough to make the trip down the steps (more accessible view points throughout Tallulah Gorge State Park), then over to Isaqueena Falls- if you're brave you can also venture into Stumphouse Tunnel in the same area. By 1859, the State of South Carolina had spent over a million dollars on the tunnel and refused to spend any more on the project, therefore the tunnel work was abandoned. The tunnel had been excavated to a length of 1,617 feet of the planned 5,863 total feet. From there they turned back toward home and stopped at Dry Falls, a roaring waterfall which has a path you can walk behind the falls. Some pictures from these locations included to give an idea of local attractions to visit.

Guests have also recommended spending a day traveling through the Great Smokey Mountain and exit directly into Gatlinburg, Tennessee which they described as one of the most fun tourists towns they've visited with many attractions for all interests (they particularly enjoyed Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies) and fun specialty shops and restaurants on their main street. Also if you need a place for a couple extra people, the bottom cabin sleeps 2 VRBO #2471341

Listening to the water at night and first thing in the morning was relaxing. Perfect location to just about anything. We went to the casino, tubed down the river zip lined at nantahala, hiked in Cherokee, visited a brewery in Sylvia and shopped in Bryson City all within a 30 minute drive.

Pictures on line looked as if you could see river from room, that wasn’t the case. I asked about refund due to leaving one day early. Host never responded. I don’t recommend, a safety hazard if you go to the River, poor steps and walk area

Small and close to the road with no Roku or way to stream movies but place is clean, has ample cooking ware. It was too cool for us to take advantage of the deck but the deck looked nice with a great view of the river.

Very clean upstairs apartment of a cabin right next to a river. The bed was comfortable and it was the just the right amount of room for me and my husband. Easy walk to the water and deck access. This location is right in the middle of bryson city and cherokee. We will definitely be back!

Very clean property. Should have disclosed that it’s more like an apartment or at least should have disclosed that it’s a shared balcony with owner on the river. I also didn’t expect it to be on a busy street. Kind of noisy. Not too private but otherwise cute place to stay.

The beds definitely need replacing, theywith sharing sink and you get stuck in a whole. I was under the impression that the deck was directly off the unit, i was wrong. Its a shared deck with the middle floor unit. I didn't realize we were going to be in the third floor unit. I was not comfortable

Had a great time. My buddy and I are big fly fisherman and the house was just what we were looking for. Close to towns and has river access. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early because of weather, but that’s what happens when you plan a trip poorly! Also, most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Was great!

Very, very nice and clean cabin the host and owner are very very nice down to earth people spoke with them while they’re a couple times. Very good people river right behind the cabin. You can fish in very beautiful me. My dad and my brother stayed and we all loved it, you couldn’t ask for nothing no better If you’re up this way and need a great cabin to stay in that I’ll sleep at least four people. This is ideal. Like I said, the host and her husband are very, very nice

This was a PERFECT place directly on the river! We spent every morning having coffee by the river and some evenings cooking on the BBQ pit right next to the river. We could hear the roaring river from our bedroom. The host was very sweet and accomidating. We felt right at home. Also, close by you can go tubing and or white water rafting.
