Damage Protection: Insurance vs. Security Deposit
We offer two options for protecting your stay:

Security Deposit – A refundable amount held during your stay and returned after checkout if no damage is found.
Vacation Rental Insurance – A non-refundable, low-cost option that covers accidental damage up to a set limit.

Why We Recommend Insurance:
✔ Better Coverage – Protects against accidental damage beyond what a deposit covers.
✔ Less Upfront Cost – No need to tie up funds with a large deposit.
✔ Hassle-Free – No waiting for refunds or disputes after checkout.

For peace of mind and a smoother experience, we highly recommend choosing the vacation rental insurance option. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

The home is very very nice. Equipped with everything. The neighborhood could use some cleaning but we had zero problems and would definitely stay there again

Second stay and so happy to have gone back! Sweet cabin and great location. Not too secluded where we couldn’t get anywhere easily, but we were able to see the northern lights from the front yard. Check out what is already at the cabin before grocery shopping. There are a lot of items already stocked!

We enjoyed this nice little cabin. We just needed a little break from our long camping trip and this was perfect. Just a note about the shower, nice strong water flow, nice hot water, shower head is high up so there’s no getting in and out without getting your hair wet, I’m 5ft 5in tall, so if you don’t want your hair getting wet wear a shower cap, lol!

This cabin is an absolute dream! Not too far from activities, but tucked away in the trees to give us a perfect little getaway. Check in was super easy, the property is really well maintained, and the cabin itself was clean and prepared for us. We were surprised to find amenities for children, like a high chair and pack n play! We’ll definitely bring our kids next time! Overall it was a delightful place to stay and added to how great our time in Alaska was!

Great little place in a great location just outside of main North Pole. My coworker really liked the outside bench swing while the property has other great amenities such as a fire pit and a sauna. The inside was very nice with a full kitchen, a nice living room with two big couches, and the upstairs had a couple beds. Fantastic place where I hope that we can stay again.

The property was great! The owner provided loads of advice about the area and detailed input on getting checked in. The cabin was perfectly clean and despite the freezing temperatures outside, it stayed warm inside. This place is perfect for a couple/small family to stay if you're looking to experience a comfortable, non-commercial setting in Alaska! The only SMALL drawback was that the TV remotes did not allow for us to change channels and there was no bluetooth speaker for us to play music. But, honestly, when you're staying over here you have no desire to remain inside so we didn't lose much sleep over it.Strongly recommend this place to anyone heading to the Fairbanks/North Pole area!

Very sweet cabin perfect for a couple or small family. Felt very clean and that’s a frequent concern of mine with any vacation rental. A lot of towels and extra blankets and pillows. Sauna was an amazing bonus (put in right before we arrived). Host is incredibly fast to respond and provided suggestions for activities which was nice. Stocked well in the kitchen with dishes, spices, coffee, etc. I would suggest checking it out before any food shopping. Great location. Remote but easy drive to activities, downtown North Pole, and airport. We saw moose tracks in the front yard one morning so keep an eye out! So cool! No dishwasher (wasn’t much of an issue for two) and laundry was noted as private use only. May need to dig out/find fire pit in the snow but that’s just part of being in Alaska. Anything more than one bag of garbage has to be taken to the dump. We had a car so not a huge deal. Again, part of being in a small remote location which we loved. Would recommend renting a car if you’re ok driving in snow. Driveway was plowed. Really loved this cabin. Would 100% recommend and go back.

Wonderful cabin! It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of towels, and washer & dryer with some laundry products if needed. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. We got lucky the last night of our stay and to see the northern lights. Got some great photos. Andy & Shayla communicated often to make sure everything was good.

We stayed here because of work related travel in the area. We were thoroughly impressed with the property as everything represented in the listing was as good or better than expected. The location and cabin were the perfect combination of isolation and convenience and relaxation. The comforts and amenities were all perfect. The hosts were quick and friendly and caring with all requests and questions. Would recommend this cabin and host for either leisure or work travel. Staying here will reset your expectations for similar properties for sure. Very satisfied overall.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! All the comforts of home, including a well-stocked kitchen. We appreciated the generous stock with things like plenty of towels, paper towels, trash bags, TP, etc. (we have stayed in VRBO's where that has not ben the case). We were especially thankful for the wonderful blackout shades as our visit was during the full sun days that Alaska offers in the summer. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. We definitely recommend this cabin & would stay here again! :)

The cabin was very charming, and the pictures didn’t quite do it justice. We enjoyed lounging around comfortably after a long day of hiking out near Chena Hot Springs. I would definitely try to book this place again if/when we get to return!
