Stayed Aug 2, 2025Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Golden Smelt. We have been renting VRBO properties for decades and this is by far the best stay we have ever had. The cabin is brand new, and was stocked with everything we needed to make our stay special. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen, the comfortable beds, the stylish decor, the ample parking spaces, and of course the incredible views of mountains and lake. We loved sitting at the dining table next to the wall of windows that face the lake. The sandy beach was enjoyed daily as we swam in the clear, clean water of Rangeley Lake. We liked sitting on the dock and watching the sun set behind the mountains. The cabin was perfectly clean and Beth was the type of host that made our booking and departure very easy. We are already planning our next visit!
