Couldn't enter home per instructions. The code provided didn't work. Had to hunt down PM to get another code. Once we got in found home wasn't very clean. We paid extra for our dog, but there were clear signs of previous pet. Bed linens were disgusting. We washed everything before using the beds. Food from previous occupants on floor. Dishes were greasy and the kitchen was not well stocked. The view was not a pristine mountain view, as described. The location was good and the overall property was nice.
Nice cabin, very clean and comfortable
Nice cabin in a country setting with a manageable drive to the city to explore the sights, sounds, and brews of Asheville
We traveled to Asheville to enjoy the Land Rover Experience at Biltmore (which was fantastic) and decided to spend extra time at this cabin. The cabin was gorgeous, beautifully built, decor was comfortable, super clean, lovely view of trees, and a great location. We rated 4/5 because while we appreciated the property being pet-friendly, we didn't feel safe allowing our 12 yr old english lab in the back yard. The yard is extremely steep, with gravel, wet leaves and uneven stairs & handrails, it was an accident waiting to happen.
The cabin was beautiful and so comfortable. The view from the deck was incredible. Our dog, Murphy, loved roaming around in the fenced in backyard. Asheville was a short 20 minute drive from the cabin. Check in and check out were a breeze. We will definitely be back!
We picked this house because of it's location and fenced yard for our dog. The house is beautiful - new, well appointed, and has a nice floor plan, and very clean! We had to go to the lower level to let the dog out, but he's a young dog and doesn't mind doing the steps. The backyard is huge. We enjoyed the swinging chairs on the lower deck. The location is great - super quiet and peaceful, but close enough to Asheville to get great food and enjoy the town. Huge TV in living room with Roku and lots of options. Excellent air conditioning. Very comfortable bed in Master Bedroom. Porches are shaded in afternoon, making it comfy to sit outside for meals or coffee and enjoy the solitude. A really relaxing stay!
This was a really nice place to stay. The kids loved the horses from the neighboring property. The house was clean and the beds comfy. I would stay here again.
Our stay at the cabin was cozy and pleasant while visiting Asheville and surrounding area. The porches were a wonderful retreat especially for enjoying our morning coffee.
Great cabin, lots of room, very clean, great for kids, with an easy check-in/out process. Staying here, you’re not far from downtown, the Biltmore, the Grove Park and lots that the mountains have to offer. The only draw back is a couple local roosters that would start crowing around 5am.
Great cabin!! Two wonderful porches. Loved the outdoor shower and swings. Great place for families. Close to all kinds of great restaurants and shops.
We had a wonderful 5 nights in this lovely, comfortable, well-appointed cabin. We had 3 couples in our group, and we all had plenty of space and privacy, while also finding plenty of space to hang out together including 2 family rooms and 2 decks with plenty of seating on the upper & lower levels. We also appreciated all the details that make a stay extra comfortable, including charging stations on bedside tables, plenty of towel racks and hooks, drip & Keurig coffee makers, electric kettle, and all soaps and paper products. Beds were very comfortable. The house sits atop a hillside with lovely views off the back decks, and is an easy 20 drive to Asheville activities including the Biltmore and the River Arts District. We will definitely return to this lovely property.
