We loved the old world look of this log cabin. Everything was perfect! The host was very easy to communicate with however, we did not have any problems with our stay. I would certainly come back!

Great house in an amazing location! Love the old charm and uniqueness of this place. Beds are comfy and kitchen is great; but the fireplace is the best. Would definitely stay here again.

Great home, kitchen and dining areas. We loved the beautiful post and beam structure of the house. Patio area was wonderful and enjoyed the wildlife sightings of 3 bucks but not so much the mouse in the house. The shower pressure was extremely low but great to have two bathrooms and the laundry. A warning sign on the stairway would be helpful regarding low head bump area. Location was great from Crested Butte and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful cabin with incredible views of Mt. Crested Butte and only about 12 minutes from downtown. We came specifically for a dirt bike & mountain bike trip, and the cabin was the perfect launching pad for access to all of the pristine single track in the area (Taylor Park, Teocalli, etc). Highly recommend star gazing here as well, the stars are incredible!

The property was just as advertised. Beautiful space. Cabin is older, but it is comfortable. Scenery is great.

Our daughter was getting married that weekend in Crested Butte. This was a perfect and beautiful location. The interior space was as described and well-stocked with everything you need for meals and family gatherings. We loved our time at Oh Be Joyful!

We had a wonderful stay at this refurbished cabin on average for a few days. The weather was variable with rain and cold to sunny and cool. We were able to enjoy the place in all weather using the fireplace and the hot tub. We had a small herd of mule deer we watched in the morning and evenings. We were able to cook several meals with a well stocked kitchen with a lot of spices and oils provided. They even provided fresh ground coffee for the drip pot to enjoy on the new patio. Lots of birds in the area and eagles and hawks. The pace is above the Slate River. Beds are comfortable and plenty of linens and towels were provided. It’s a short drive to CB and beyond for hiking fishing and hanging out. Hats off to CB for good food and drinks. Thanks to a great host that was responsive. We will be back next time in the Denver area.

My wife and I had a great stay in this cabin. Owner put a lot of thoughtful little touches that were appreciated. Stargazing from the hot tub was awesome and the new patio was a really nice space to relax in we would be happy to come back the next time we are in crested butte

John was a great host. The cabin has a really great historic charm. Well stocked everything and great communication made for a pleasant stay. Will be back again.

We had an amazing stay for a ski weekend in Crested Butte! The location was ideal, just a short drive to town and the resort while still being secluded with breathtaking views. After a full day on the slopes, the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed, and the host was incredibly responsive, making our stay seamless. We would absolutely stay here again!

We loved our stay at John’s ranch. The cabin itself is very cozy and comfortable. We loved the fireplace and the private hot tub. The location lends itself to a private and peaceful stay, while just a few minutes from CB.

If you are looking for a secluded feel that isn’t a condo or townhome “in town”, this is a great place to stay near Crested Butte! Private hot tub, functional fireplace, 3 separate bedrooms, great views. Can’t wait to come back!

Charming , comfy cabin in a great quiet location just outside of town. Very nice linens and decor. Beds were very comfortable and they used washable duvet covers. John was very responsive when we had questions. Would stay here again!
