If the property owner knew that they had a guest scheduled tonstay the exterior of the property should have been cleaned of all the cobwebs and dirt and ready for the guest. It took a long time to get in contact with the owner after several tries.
Five days before check in the host asked if I could change my reservation date and offered $100 to do so. I was not able to change the date. Then 2 days later they cancelled my reservation without any communication. They said the home was double booked. That is suspicious since they had already asked me to cancel. When they cancelled on me, I did not get any compensation. Be very careful booking with this host. Either they are not honest about bookings or they have a bad booking procedure in place. Either way, my trip wasn't handled well.
My husband and I enjoyed spending time together watching the sunset from the rear deck. Easy access to hiking and outdoor activities. Very cozy, very clean place. Highly recommend, would stay again!
It was a decent property. The only real issues were around cleanliness. They charge a pretty expensive cleaning fee for there to be cobwebs literally all over the place. Just a little off putting to get in from a long drive sit on the couch and look behind you and see cobwebs all along the wall. My only suggestion to them is to just clean those out of the windows and walls and such and it would make the place feel alot more inviting.
Place was wonderful although downstairs was chilly. Great area and nice quiet peaceful neighborhood. Place was very neat and clean with a great porch view. Great hiking trails in the area and had so much fun. Would stay again.
Make sure you come prepared. Closest grocery store or convenience store is almost thirty minutes away. Closest restaurant about the same. But as long as you’re okay with that this is an awesome property. The wife and I loved it
This cabin was adorable and had plenty of things to do. The view was spectacular! It was definitely freezing cold downstairs even with the heat on but the upstairs stayed very warm and cozy! Definitely a fun little get away with the girls!
Great spot with a really nice view. Proposed to my girlfriend while there and went white water rafting and hiking.
Great experience. Beautiful property. Cute cabin. Two complaints... First, no microwave. Second, The listing said the cabin was located in Suches. I came for the Six Gap Century cycling event and saw that Suches was about a 30 minute drive. The cabin is located the farthest point of Suches which was about an hour drive to Dahlonega. The location was a bit misleading.
