We arrived at the cabin around 5pm and our door code didn't immediately work. I sent a message to Andrea, the host, and she responded immediately by calling me to give me an updated code for the door lock. She had been having a bit of trouble with the door key code, and gave us a different code which worked the entirety of our stay. i sent several messages to her throughout our stay and she was immediately responsive and incredibly friendly and accommodating. Any question I had was answered by Andrea within 10 minutes of my sending. The cabin was exactly as listed and was more than enough for our group of 9 adults. Everything we needed was provided. The hot tub was perfect and we used it each night during our stay. We made a dinner in the oven and everyone fit nicely around the huge kitchen table. We hiked on 2 different days and it was incredibly easy to get to our destinations (we went to the swinging suspension bridge-Toccoa River swinging bridge, and to a waterfall hike - Falls Branch Falls). The beds were more comfortable than any VRBO I have ever stayed at. The views were incredible: we gazed upon the full moon from the hot tub and saw a family of deer about 50 yards from the cabin one morning. We made smores in the fire pit. We played board games and cards late into the evening. We watched a movie on the huge TV in the living room. We were all so comfortable that we were sad to leave on our last morning. Check out was a breeze. Can't wait to return!
The cabin was perfect for our family. The location was perfect. I wish the trip was longer. Will definitely return for a longer stay.
A great hostess with great communication. The set up was amazing and beautiful. I could not have asked for a better night in a cabin.
Property needs attention. Couldn’t get in door till we sweep (mud). Cobwebs. Stove dirty. Holes in sheets. Exhaust Vent to dryer was disconnected. Hair on pillows. Windows dirty. Beer cans on back porch. Refrigerator had dents all over it. Urine stains on all carpets. Bulbs burned out. Black mildew on downstairs shower. Shower leaked. Toilets not fastened to floor (they rocked when you sat on them. Both fireplaces didn’t work. Whole house was damp. jacuzzi stopped working and it smelt bad. We have one vacation a year and this was it. Very disappointed. Manager promised refund for cleaning of $150 and we haven’t seen anything. We have a lot of pictures if you need them. We gave them to manager also
The property was unkept… there were cobwebs throughout the property, the dishes were dirty, the downstairs shower gets stopped up, the hot tub was not cleaned nor the back porch, the outside fireplace was in operable. The towels were dingy and pillowcases were not clean.
Everything you need in a quaint cabin in the woods! Will stay again!
Everything about our stay was perfect. We will definitely go back.
Owner was great about communicating. Great size for our family. Close proximity to downtown Blue Ridge. Hot tub very clean. Roads leading to cabin are partial gravel and dirt so be aware what vehicle you travel in. Great value for our dollar and this trip!
Good time
Overall, we had a great experience at this cabin.
The cabin was very clean. We could not get either fireplace to work, the plug beside the downstairs bathroom light had no power, the steps to the downstairs are dangerously steep.
It was a lovely week for my new fiancé and I. We spent the week together, and he proposed on an apple orchard near by. Would highly recommend this quiet cabin in the mountains for quiet getaways.
Great communication. Amazing Location. Would love to visit again.
The property was even more beautiful on the inside, which made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The peaceful tranquility away from the noises and craziness of the city life spoke volume, being able to sit around the fire pit and share tons of laughs was priceless. If anyone is looking for a great cabin to stay at I recommend this one. When I reached out to the owner with a couple questions, the response was quick , we all enjoyed out stay. Thanks!!
Everything was amazing! The owner kept in contact with me the whole time. She responded quick and was really friendly the whole time. Definitely recommend
This property was in great condition and the owner answered all questions promptly. I would highly recommend.
Cozy and quaint cabin. Our family of 9 were quite comfortable. Beautiful woods. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and outdoor grill.
