We enjoyed our stay in Cherry Log, Georgia. The location of the cabin was great, residents of the development were very friendly. Our dogs enjoyed walking in the development. Thank you, to cabin owners who allow us to include our pets on our trips.
We loved it. The cabin was very clean! It had a beautiful view of the mountains! Will definitely plan another stay there.
Overall a good stay. The cabin was nice, BUT the jet tub.... the jets were dirty and we didn't use it. The HOT TUB was terrible. The hot tub was DIRTY inside and out. The outside had dirt all over it the water was dirty and had black stuff floating in it. The suroundings around the hot tube was dirty too. Spiders were on the wall.... no chairs to sit in or anything to make the area look nice. The basement was bland .... nothing in it to enjoy or change clothes. The basement would be nice if it had something to do: Pool Table .... just something to enjoy the basement while you are down there. The landscaping was overgrown .... the fire pit was unuseable due to no way of getting to it safely (no walk way/path.) Some of the dishes were dirty too .... had to rewash some glasses to be able to use them. Also .... there are ROACHES in the cabin.
The cabin was well stocked and had anything we needed during our staying. There's a nice view from the deck and a fire pit just outside (we didn't use it). The road that takes you there is quite curvy/narrow and might be difficult to navigate for some inexperienced drivers. The hot-tub is a little dated. Headrests are peeling off, and pieces are going to be floating around while you are in it. The amount of chlorine was also an issue. We couldn't stay in it for more than 5 minutes because it would start burning in our noses. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.
Absolutely marvelous in every way! We will certainly return to Louis' wonderful mountain hide-awsy!
We loved the cabin and had a great time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a perfect place for my husband and I to vacation with my brothers family. The cabin was very well equipped, better than any other VRBO than we’ve stayed at…a complete kitchen away from home. It was quite a ride up, but no problems, even for my non-4wheel drive SUV.
Just got back home from our 5 day stay. Lots of windy roads to get up to the cabin- a 4 wheel drive would definitely be ideal. Cozy cabin with all bedrooms, kitchen and living room on the same floor. Fully stocked kitchen which we used and enjoyed. Great patio for sitting outside and enjoying the weather when it's not too cold. Internet was spotty the last 2 days- contacted Michelle and she was able to check in with the internet service who reported no issues but on our end it kept going on and off. Minor issue. Overall great stay. Close to lots of places to explore.
Very nice place and views may be fantastic but weather socked in everything. Great kitchen set up with plenty of appliances, dishes so we didn't feel compelled to eat out for every meal.
We loved our stay at this comfy, cozy cabin! Everything was thoughtfully prepared for the ease of guests (and our doggies too!). The cabin was very clean and organized, and the kitchen had all the things we needed in order to cook for the week. We enjoyed the use of the wifi, the fireplace, the laundry, comfy recliner couches, and the great view! We felt very at home during our stay and I would love to come back here again. Highly recommend!
Our stay was a get together with family not seen for over 3 years. The cabin was perfect - very peaceful and very well equipped. We brought in groceries and did not leave u til time of departure. The hosts, Luis and Michelle, made everything so easy and were available for any and all questions. I have no hesitation in recommending this cabin and hope to get an opportunity to return. The views are beautiful. The road in and out is an adventure - requires driving slowly and carefully - but the destination is worth it.
My husband and I needed a getaway. We found this cabin and it was perfect for us. We needed to bring our dog, so it was great they accepted animals. The cabin was easy to find, a great location, with nice views of mountains from the porch. The master bed was very comfortable. They provided everything you could ever need in the kitchen. That means a lot to us, as we enjoy cooking. I also appreciated the shampoo/conditioner and body wash provided. All in all, a great trip!
We enjoyed a great 5 night getaway here and loved every minute! It is in a steep development up a mountain, but (single lane) but our small SUV has all-wheel drive and we had no concerns. Enjoyed the Mountain View from the porch with our morning coffees and evening cocktails. It was exactly as pictured on RBO. Had about a dozen deer come through which was fun. We enjoyed meeting friends in Murphy one day, went to Crane River Vineyard & Winery, Mercier’s Apple House and the Pink Pig restaurant! Highly recommend all!
