Stayed Sep 6, 2025The cabin was clean, well equipped and very welcoming. The property is well maintained and offers a great variety of things including and outdoor kitchen. The property manager was very friendly and answered all communications promptly. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed May 16, 2024Tucked away just south of Custer this cabin is both close enough to everything where it is an easy drive but also just far enough out its like you're on your own. Just great overall, make sure if you stay ask if Madeline is selling her donuts.

Stayed Jun 28, 2022This cabin was just perfect for my time spent in the Hills. It was clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The hostess and her daughter were wonderful! I highly recommend this quiet, out of the way cabin, for some quiet, and a place to soak up the atmosphere of the beautiful hills. It is just outside of Custer, but away from all the hub bub of the tourists. Outstanding place to stay.

Stayed Jun 8, 2022We were very happy with our stay in the Buffalo Bunk House. It is so quiet and away from the crowds. Yet it is close to all the activities in Custer and the Black Hills.
