Perham, Minnesota
Welcome to Fireside Log Cabin on Big Pine Lake. This 3 bedroom 1 bath rustic log escape is nestled among the trees and sits perched above Big Pine Lake giving way to some incredible views of the lake just 3 miles outside of Perham.
Upon entering the home, you’re greeted by a tall vaulted ceiling, open kitchen, living room, and dining room featuring a wall of windows that faces the lake. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level each with a queen bed. The third bedroom is located in the loft and has full beds. The full bathroom is located on the main level just between the bedrooms.
The living room boasts new furniture, a TV, and a fireplace. Just off of the living room you will find a covered patio, perfect for coffee in the morning, or enjoying dinner by the lake in the evening. There are approximately 30 stairs that lead down to the lake, but with intentionally placed landings, the elevation is gradual.
The home comes fully stocked with all the essentials and supplies needed to accommodate 8 guests including plates, glassware, silverware, bedding, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, and hand soap. We have a toaster, a blender, and a coffee maker. No pets are allowed at this time. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Great location and view of the lake.
Comfortable furniture and beds. Cool Minnesota lake cabin layout. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Plenty of parking. We’ll stocked kitchen. It is an older cabin and it shows in some ways. It could have been cleaner. Looked like no one had brushed webs from the exterior doors and windows in weeks.
Has a lot of potential. Needs a woman's touch, deep cleaning and updating. The TV didn't work nor did the blinds. It was clear that there had been a lot animals had stayed there. It smelled like wet dog and I had a flee or bug bite me while sitting in the chair. Had a asthma attack and was told it was not animal friendly. Yet there was a sign to keep your dogs off the furniture. It was very dark and needs lighting, real towels and pillows. Coffee maker was also broken.
The property and neighborhood is excellent. Stunning view of the lake, enough trees to have privacy from the neighbors, and close to town for supplies, shopping, and food. The cabin is modern but still has a rustic log cabin vibe. Large porch facing the lake was a nice place to have morning coffe, lunch and happy hour.
Being fishing enthusiasts, everyone enjoyed Big Pine Lake as well as the log cabin amenities. Would like to stay again next year!
Loved the cabin setting with the lake view. In spite of being in a neighborhood it was very quiet and relaxing.
The cabin was very nice. Just what we were looking for! Beautiful view and right on the water. The neighborhood was very nice and clean also. Would stay there again!
