Stayed Apr 11, 2024If you're looking for a quiet place with an absolutely amazing view, this is it. Waking up with the ocean out your window, waves crashing against the bluff, and sounds of birds chirping is just unbelievable. The place has three fire pits, a hot sauna, and the most unusual wood burning hot tub you'll ever experience (highly recommended even though it's a lot of effort to get ready). It's expensive but these views make it worth it. My family also really enjoyed the interior with a cool hammock and two lofts. The warning I'll give here is that it isn't small kid or elderly friendly. The steps are far too narrow and I thought I would fall a few times. One of the lofts also has the opening right next to the bed so if you were to roll out of bed, you could easily fall 10 feet. There were also a few outdoor games (axe throwing, croquet, and corn hole. They were a pleasant surprise. Due to the 4pm checkin and 11am checkout, give yourself at least two nights here to enjoy the amenities. Improvements: * no small pots to cook with. Given how stocked the kitchen was, this was odd. * grill should probably be replaced * consider adding a curtain around the shower so the whole bathroom doesn't get wet. * please include some fire starters. The kindling shed was empty and when I asked about it, the person responded that they'll ask the owner but I never did get it replenished. * I asked about early checkin multiple times (via voicemail and text) and was ignored.

Stayed Nov 16, 2025This was, by far, the most charming place I have ever stayed- the pictures do not begin to describe the experience (it’s impossible to describe). The location is beautiful with cliffside views of the sound & tucked inside a pine forest. Every square inch of this treehouse inside is curated and The hosts were gracious, helpful and polite. Whether you’re adventuring or relaxing, this checks the boxes. I’ve stayed a lot of places over the years and this is #1, hands down. I know this sounds like hyperbole, but just book and you’ll be glad you did.

Stayed Sep 5, 2025My family/friends had a cozy perfect stay at the eagles nest treehouse! The upper level beds are spaced out well so you don't feel too crammed, and the lower bench seating is very comfortable as well. Just like the other treehouse the details are adorable and well thought out, we liked finding various decor sprinkled throughout the space. The big lichen-clad branches that were hanging in the bathroom ceiling and the whole tree in the middle of the house were such cool treehouse vibes. Can't wait to come back here, definitely telling others. An unforgettable weekend!!!

Stayed Aug 6, 2025Amazing place to stay and definitely the best part of our trip to the PNW. Everything we needed was here from the large things to the smallest details. Worth the investment! Gorgeous views, peaceful atmosphere, and the kids had a blast. Loved the shower experience and the kitchen was well stocked. My son and i slept on the window seat and woke up to stunning views of the water. Beds were comfortable plus plenty of blankets and pillows. Can't wait to come back and stay longer!

Stayed Jan 11, 2025We tried for 2 hours to make the hot tub work, but no luck. We also tried to start the bonfire, that didn’t work either. Everything else was really great. We enjoyed our stay, the location is spectacular. The house was very clean and everything we needed was available.

Stayed Dec 26, 2024Overall, great stay and we loved the beautiful view from the treehouse. The abundance of pillows and blankets made for curling up with a good book the perfect way to spend the day. Cons. The wood fired hot tub was overrated and a total waste of about 5 hours of work trying to get it warm. The provided firewood needed to be chopped down to make kindling and the expectation to pay for the wood considering the nightly cost of the property seemed a little silly. And the shed of free kindling wasnt kindling at all...it was a shed packed full of damp cardboard. Had we known, we'd have brought our own wood. We did enjoy a lovely fire on the bluff despite the wood challenges, it just made it more work than maybe we were anticipating. The house itself was well stocked and all the beds very comfortable. Would stay again, just wouldnt waste my time with the hottub. Cons: the woodfired hot tub is overrated

Stayed Dec 29, 2024Our family of 5 (3 teenage/tweenage daughters) stayed here for two nights while we explored Olympic National Park. We absolutely loved it. The daybed overlooking the Strait was a huge hit and is a very comfortable place to hang out or sleep. The bedrooms/lofts are tight but comfortable and we used them just for sleeping. For a treehouse it is quite spacious. The views were more impressive than we expected and the hosts were responsive and clearly take pride in the space they’ve built. Definitely worth staying here for the experience and the views. .

Stayed Jul 17, 2024We stayed here with my husbands brother and his wife. The 4 of us are over 63 but still mobile. It was a wonderful experience! The steps a bit of a manuver because of our age but very much worth the amazing experience. Just wonderful attention to the guests needs and comfort and small touches of extras that showed that the owners cared. Sound machines, earplugs. Clean and well decorated. Binoculars. We just kept finding little details that showed they cared! We ladies were blown away, and the views God provided could not be more amazing! The owner provided so many opportunities to enjoy it!

Stayed Jun 14, 2024We absolutely loved our stay in the Nest! The hot tub, the sauna, the swing, and the view were all excellent. Loved the great communication from our host and really enjoyed not having to do any cleaning before we left. Thanks for having us:)
