Important Notice: Road Conditions in the Smoky Mountains
Please be aware that road conditions in the Smoky Mountains can be unpredictable and may change rapidly due to weather. Our cabin's roads & driveways are either pavement or gravel or both. Depending on the season, you may experience road conditions such as heavy rain washouts, snow, sleet, roads covered in leaves, etc. We highly recommend using a 4WD vehicle to ensure safe travel to your cabin, especially during winter months or inclement weather. We also strongly recommend traveling in a vehicle with higher ground clearance to navigate the terrain more easily. Low clearance vehicles will not be able to access certain cabin roads including The Watershed Resort.
Please Note:
NO REFUNDS will be issued if you are unable to reach your cabin due to road conditions.
We advise checking weather and road conditions prior to your trip to ensure a safe and pleasant journey.

Water Conservation Policy
To ensure the sustainability of our beautiful mountain environment, we kindly ask all guests to use water mindfully during their stay. Please limit shower times, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, and report any leaks immediately. We also encourage the reuse of towels and linens to reduce water consumption. These small actions help preserve our natural resources and keep the mountains pristine for future visitors.
Run the washer sparingly.
Only run the dishwasher when it's full.
DO NOT wash your car.
Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to your visit!

Attention: Active Wildlife in the Area
Our area of WNC is currently experiencing increased wildlife activity, particularly from bears. While it’s a privilege to share our environment with these magnificent creatures, it’s essential that we all take precautions to ensure our safety and theirs.
Please follow these guidelines:
Secure all food and garbage: Bears are attracted to strong smells. Do not leave food in your car and reattach bungee cords to trash can lids every time.
Be aware of your surroundings: Stay alert, especially during dawn and dusk when wildlife is most active.
Avoid close encounters: If you see a bear or other wildlife, maintain a safe distance and do not approach.
Travel in groups: When possible, hike or explore with others, and make noise to alert animals of your presence. Keep dogs leashed at all times.
Your cooperation is crucial in maintaining a safe and harmonious environment for everyone. Thank you for your attention and care.

We love the location with fantastic front view, and the cabin is very cozy, and we enjoy the hot hub. The floor plan is great. We enjoy the stay and looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful, spacious and very clean cabin. The cabin has everything we could’ve possibly needed. The beds were comfortable, the grandkids really enjoyed the arcade games, as did the adults and the cabin is close to downtown Bryson City. I would definitely recommend Nantahala Nights!

We had a nice family vacation. The address doesn't work in G00gle Maps quite right but we have stayed close by before so it wasn't an issue. Be careful turning onto the last street. The turn off of Needmore Road is on a blind hill. You can do a Street View level when you get your address. It's paved the whole way except for the last 100ft and isn't a problem. The scenery is great. You can hear the nearby road but we live near an airport so it didn't bother us. We saw some turkeys at the cabin and saw evidence of raccoons. The bears just seem to avoid us every year. The beds were comfy for us, the kitchen had everything we needed, the grill was fine and the multicade kept our grandson busy. They used the hot tub a couple times with no complaints. It was pretty hot when we were there so the fireplace and backyard firepit were never used. The place is set up nice for pets if you bring them with the enclosed porch. The only downside we had is that the bathroom sinks don't have sink stoppers and our grandson lost his toothbrush down the drain in the small bathroom. I did a quick recovery by taking apart the p-trap and the hair clog I removed resembled a small, wet squirrel. The other two sinks could probably use a quick cleanout too if they were the same.We had a great stay and would definitely stay again for a family vacation. I added a nice nighttime pic from the deck.

Able to meet property manager upon arrival who went out of his way to explain everything and make sure we knew how everything worked and how to reach them. Amazing mattresses and pillows allowed for wonderful rests after beautiful hikes nearby. Great kitchen with all supplies provided. Super super clean. Very relaxing. Great supply of puzzles and games. Wonderful fireplace. Amazing Starlink Internet provided ability to watch anything we wanted on TV or computer. Could be a great place to work from.
