Walk to private "Trails End River Park" with river access, weekend bonfires, and horseshoe pit
“Trails End Community” river access is a short walk for those wanting to enjoy the eagles, elk and other river wildlife. Relax, explore, and enjoy what the area has to offer!
We stayed here for two nights as we were up here on vacation for the Mt Rainier 5k and half marathon. Drive to Ashford was pretty easy and beautiful. House was very peaceful and quiet. House was very clean and beds were very comfy. If it wasn’t so hot while we were there, the hammock and fire pit would have been amazing to use. We didn’t do much exploring of Rainer national park, so I guess I will just have to come back and stay here again!
Great central location for our family! As described. They could’ve shoveled the stairs prior to our arrival, but we did it ourselves, so no huge deal. It worked, and we had a great Christmas!
This is a modular home. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood to the river. The microwave is extremely small. The house doesn’t have air conditioning and was extremely hot. The management provided fans for us but it was still very hot.
The house was great- very clean and accommodated the 4 of us well. The house was 80 degrees inside when we arrived- very hot! I called the rental manager and she was very nice and sent over a couple of fans. It finally cooled down in the evening. When we came back the next day it was again 80 degrees inside the house and took a very long time to cool down. I think a couple of portable air conditioning units would be a very nice addition
Great home for our family of six. Very close to National Park entrance. Excellent communication with the property manager. Would stay here again.
We absolutely loved our time in Packwood. Your home was well appointed and comfortable - literally felt like home!! Town is adorable. We found everything we needed at the local grocery store and there were even a few wonderful coffee shops in town too. Mt Rainier National Park was a blast! In the park we did some rainy hikes, some snowshoeing, saw waterfalls, and even played in the snow. Nanoock Haus was close (25 minutes and 60 minutes) to three entrances to the park that contained the most to do. Many of the hikes we planned were closed due to downed trees, damaged bridges, or too much snow but we managed to find plenty to do and just loved our time in the park. We hope to return again so we can do the rest of the hikes we missed out on. When we return, we fully intend to stay in your home again.
Very clean and modern inside. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 teenagers. Highly recommend!
