Everything went as planned, the communication with the house was good and the place met my expectations

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the house. Thank you to the owner for hosting us.What worked well:The house has a stylish design and feels cozy. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything needed for cooking, including plenty of nice dishes. The mattresses are comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. What could be better:There is no hot tub on the property, despite it being listed in the amenities. The “hot tub” actually refers to a community hot tub located about a five-minute drive away. Short-term guests must pay an additional fee of 30 per person, and access is limited to a maximum of six people. Additionally, popular travel dates are blacked out for short-term tenants. Saying that, houses with a hot tub are generally more expensive, so this property is a good value in the current market; however, the hot tub situation could be explained more clearly in the house description.The house could also benefit from a more thorough inspection of non-working items. For example, the lock in the shared bathroom does not work, which makes the stay less comfortable for guests who are not staying in one of the two master bedrooms. One of the faucets in the master bedroom is not functioning (although there were two sinks, so we were able to use the other one).

Our hosts were very nice! Helpful, patient and accommodating. The property was beautiful and well maintained. We had a fabulous stay!

A great place for a family trip. Two master bedrooms and two queen bunk bed rooms accommodated grandparents, parents and children. Plenty of bathrooms, dining tables and laundry made it easy to stay for a holiday week with young children and family dinners. Spectacular views!

The host was very accommodating and communicated well. The house has everything you need, a well stocked pantry and room for plenty. I'd happily stay there again.

This was the perfect house for our family vacation. We had kids of all ages and adults and my elderly mother with us. This house was perfect for us. Clean, comfy, and beautiful. We will definitely be back

Very cozy house in a great location. It was everything we were looking for for a ski/snowboarding retreat.

This place is amazing, and Matt and Jen are super kind and responsive. My only note is there is no soap for showers so make sure to bring your own!

Jen and Matt were great hosts. The home is exactly as pictured. The views were gorgeous. The home is properly cleaned and there were enough towels and linens to go around. There were even some snow toys for the little ones to play. The layout is great with the two master bedrooms apart from each other to separate the noise. Jen and Matt were very responsive. Thanks for allowing us to make memories in your home!

We had a great stay! House and views are beautiful. Loved having two bedroom suites and bunk rooms. Great for multiple families with kids. Loved that there was a pack n play, high chair, baby gate, and games. Will definitely be back

We’d love to come back. Great location, layout, and overall it met most expectations.

The home is in need of TLC on most if not all high touch areas (think doors/door handles, light switches, thermostats, door locks etc). It was not clean upon arrival, the trash had not been taken out from the previous visitor and gaining access to the home could have been easier. This home could be absolutely outstanding, but routine maintenance seems to have been ignored. We won’t be staying at this home again as a result.

This was a lovely place to stay. Lots of nature related activities to do nearby. Would book again!

We all enjoyed our stay at their beautiful log home in Truckee. Spectacular views, quiet neighbors, and close to attractions. Truckee is amazing. It has all the feels of an old rustic town with the most awesome mountain views. We went in their off season at the end of July and there wasn't a lot of people which was a bonus. The owners are super nice and respond quickly.

The view was amazing, great place to spend a week.

It was as beautiful as the pictures showed, pictures don’t do justice of the beauty of the views. All 11of us had wonderful game, puzzle, meal and conversation time in the set up of home. We also could have our alone time when needed. My family said trip was beyond words, this home was a big part of that.

House was excellent, out door area had a lot of pollen. Need to replace outdoor seat cushions.

We made it an extended family trip for my son’s soccer tournament. The Cabin was clean and very open, clean and convenient for activities along truckee and Tahoe. We enjoyed our stay. The place can get warm during the day but the night time temperatures do go down and having the screen windows open provide a nice breeze into the cabin. Overall, nice place to stay for trips to truckee.
