**Things to Note**:
-The cabin is NOT SECLUDED but it is a private property. There are other cabins next door. The stellar views of the Cohutta mountains are shared by neighboring cabins on the mountain.
-We do have a Ring doorbell camera mounted by the front door and the door leading to the deck and a Ring security system for when the property is vacant.
-Please note that there is little to no cellphone reception in the area leading up to the cabin. However, we do provide very fast 1GB Wi-Fi for your use. Please make sure to download driving instructions prior to driving up to the cabin. The roads leading up to the cabin are paved, however if there is snow on the ground the roads can be slick and AWD/4WD is recommended. When the roads are clear, there is no need for AWD/4Wd.
-From time to time there can be new construction on the mountains and you can see some construction vehicles, hear construction noise in the area during the daytime.
- Asian lady beetles are very prevalant in the North GA mountains in the cold months and they do show up in the cabins, despite vacuuming and thorough cleaning. You may see some dead bugs. These bugs were deliberately introduced into the state of GA by US dept of Agriculture in an effort to contain other insect pests. SO there is no way to completely exterminate them.
-Bunk beds are for kids
-Youtube streaming service is provided.
-There is solo stove on the deck for guests to use ( firewood is not provided) * firewood can be purchased from local grocery stores.
This was our second year of a Christmas trip to the mountains and it way exceeded our expectations. The host thought of all of the little touches making it such a special trip. The communication was very prompt and always helpful.
The cabin was perfect for our group. The view is beautiful! The cabin is very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The location is fine, about 30 minutes from Blue Ridge or Ellijay. Where you find groceries and restaurants. Overall enjoyed our stay!
The description of the property was spot on, there are neighboring houses but it doesn’t affect your view/stay and was a non issue. Hot tub was nice, towels provided, grill had extra propane, heater outside, we used all of those things! The house is beautiful, a mix of modern and cabin, TVs everywhere, charging ports and luggage racks in bedrooms, plenty of towels. It’s nice to have bedrooms on every floor and not on top of each other. Kitchen was the most well appointed I’ve seen in all my vaca stays- peelers, bottle openers, mixing bowls, measuring spoons and cups, grill utensils, servingware, tons of pots, skillets, coffee bean grinder, tea holder, it was impressive. No water dispenser, but the tap water tasted fine. Communication was instant when I had to reach out about a toilet issue and another question which was great. Overall we had a great family holiday trip, thanks for everything!
The cabin was clean upon arrival and had plenty of space for multiple families. We loved the kids space with the twin beds and cool night light. The downstairs game room was super fun! The views are unbeatable! We loved spending time on the deck with the hot tub and enjoying the views. The only downside to this cabin is there is no outdoor yard/space for kids to run around… I’m sure that can be hard to come by in the mountains though. The other downside is the cabins next door are extremely close. Other than that, this was a great cabin!
No TV outside like advertised in pictures. When I mentioned it to her, she wasnt even aware of it. She doesn't have the best communication with her cleaning crew. This was highly disappointing as it was one of our highlights (hanging out on the deck and watching TV while in the hot tub or seating area). She should label all the switches in the house, we couldn't figure out what turned what on and by the time we did, we forgot next time around. The level of dust on the blinds and shelves were disgusting! Someone had left some kind of food container in the fridge and it was molded. Cleaning crew not up to par. Check in process was a nightmare! All of this was discussed with host but not much could be done at that point. This house has such potential with just a little more TLC.
Beautiful cabin with spectacular views! Nice accommodations, we really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin.
Great place to relax, rest and rejuvenate with the family! We had a wonderful time celebrating our son’s 30th birthday!
The house was great, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need for cooking. The owner was very responsive and helpful with letting us check in a little early. Overall great experience!
This is a beautiful cabin! The level of cleanliness and maintenance was exceptional!
A bit of a drive to Blue Ridge, but clean and very nicely appointed.
We booked this place as we had a friend with us from overseas. It was perfect! There was so much space and it exceeded our expectations. The downstairs area was perfect for the kids. The spa was beautiful and we had a lot of fun making s'mores in the outdoor fire-pit area.
Stayed with my daughter and brother with his kids. House is beautiful with everything you would need for a stay away. Recommend arriving during the day and keeping to the right to avoid the steep climb up to the house. Highly recommend this house for your next vacation. 25 mins to downtown blue ridge.
Overall, it was a great stay for our family. I was very disappointed that the advertised fireplace in the living room and hot tub were not available for use when the weather was 3-5 degrees. Those items working would have made the property perfect. The contact, Nikki, was very responsive when we had some other issues. It’s a nice rental.
This cabin was definitely the nicest cabin rental I have stayed in. It was beautiful, well maintained, and all the small details were so very appreciated. The kitchen was well-equipped, there was a 3-plug charger next to our bed, as well as portable chargers available for use, and the host left a sweet basket and note with treats and a bottle of champagne. Even the soap dispensers around the house were cute! The bathrooms came with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and small containers of cue tips, cotton pads, and floss sticks. The master bedroom also had two fold out suitcase stands to put our bags on! The cabin also came with the nicest back porch! It had a nice outdoor table, grill, and an outdoor fireplace with a couch and two TVs. It had a small fenced in side yard which was really nice that we could let the dogs out and they could stay out there safe and fenced in with their own space. There was also a brand new solo stove as the outdoor firepit! So nice. The host, Niki, was super communicative and friendly. She notified us that the hot tub was broken but then made sure to arrange someone to come out and fix it the day after we arrived. My only complaints: the bunk bed and bottom floor pull out mattresses were very uncomfortable. One of my friends couldn't sleep on any of them because he could feel the springs. BUT luckily we found a nice air mattress in the master closet which he said was very comfortable and was able to sleep well the rest of the trip. The house is also about 25 minutes from town but we knew that when we booked it and it wasn't terrible. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!
Outdoor space is very nice and on one level, which was great for spending time with family. Plenty of space on the main level and the kitchen was well equipped. The kids really enjoyed playing games in the basement.
This was my first time renting a property like this and I had some anxiety about it. However I must say that the management quickly made me comfortable. Very accommodating, responsive and helpful. My entire party was blown away by the level of detail in the property that made us feel welcomed and at home. This truly is a beautiful property and an amazing experience!!
Pictures do not do this home justice. The view is breathtaking.
We rented this home for our anniversary. We were crazy busy and needed something not too far from home. Our nanny was unavailable to keep our 2 small Frenchies. This home was not only “dog friendly” it was designed with dogs in mind. We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful porch. We set up our Netflix on the outdoor TV and the yard was fenced in so the pups could play. I would say we spent 90% of our time enjoying the outdoors. We will definitely be booking this home again and HIGHLY recommend it for anyone looking at this area :)
It was an amazing stay! Wonderful, peaceful, and lovely. The view from the hot tub, next to the TV and put on some music on was an amazing touch. It was even better that it was pet friendly! Jasper enjoyed his time as well ?? Plenty of space for all the family and friends that you may bring. But might be helpful to note for some there is a 11° incline and decline getting to the property. We had no trouble at all as it was summer but wondering how it would be in the winter months.
