Great mountain views. Comfortable cabin. Lots to do in the cabin with books, games, smart TVs and the location was close to shopping.

When you go on a family vacation to make memories, the destination is just as important as the activities you choose while you’re there. “Smoky’s Treehouse” was the absolute perfect experience for our family. There’s almost too much to cover. The house was spotless, and we felt comfortable the moment we walked in. Everything worked perfectly, and the owners thought of everything, from the essentials to the small touches like soap, shampoo, towels, and detergent. The amenities were outstanding. The hot tub was my personal favorite, while our kids couldn’t get enough of the old school arcade game. Outside, there was plenty of space to relax or explore, with the swings, fire pit, and spacious porch making it easy to unwind. There’s also plenty of parking, which we noticed isn’t always the case at other properties. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s situated almost exactly between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, which made every outing quick and convenient. If we ever have the chance to visit the area again, I would absolutely stay at Smoky’s Treehouse. I just hope it stays exactly the way it is so we can return and relive the same wonderful experience all over again.

The property this cabin sits on is gorgeous, with beautiful views of the mountains. We loved how secluded it felt. Overall we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay, but were left disappointed that some of the amenities weren’t functional. When we went to use the hot tub it had low water, debris, and a musty smell. We contacted the property manager and she did send someone right away to drain and refill it. However, we were never able to get the hot tub to heat up after trying to run it for quite a while. At that point we just let it be because we wouldn’t have another opportunity to use it during our stay. The next morning it was chilly and we tried to turn on the gas fireplace, but it wouldn’t light. I again reached out to the property manager over text but never got any response. We reached out again about both issues after checking out so hopefully they will correct these issues for future guests.

The cabin location is very private and peaceful but also very convenient to most destinations. We loved the sun room and watching the wildlife outside. The owner and staff was very responsive and ensured our stay was perfect. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again!

We stayed at the cabin with our entire family - a one year old, three year old, and six adults. The cabin was spacious, but cozy. It was accommodating to have a bedroom downstairs so we didn’t have to go up and down with the littles. The deck has an incredible view of the mountains. We enjoyed the enclosed deck and back game room, which was also very cozy. The hot tub worked well A note that we stayed during the path of hurricane Helene and had no issues with leaks or it being loud. It was safe and sturdy. We would definitely stay again if we came back to TN!

We got lost our first time there, but Linda was on top of getting us there when we texted her. Cabin is super cute and clean. Beds were super comfy. Had a few extra dish/laundry soap but we had to buy more so be prepared to bring extra paper products and toiletries. Drive up is windy and tight but this is the only place we saw one bear throughout our whole Smokey visit. Great place to stay, very comfy and great communication with manager and owner. Would stay again if we ever come again.

We returned for the second time and still love the property. This is the first time we returned to a VRBO property and it truly felt like a home away from home.

The cabin was great. Very nice kitchen and we did a lot of cooking. The sun room and large dining table were perfect for our family. Six year old is now hooked on Asteroids game. Comfortable beds. Pretty views off deck but we did see bears around the cabin. People before us did. We saw some on the Cade’s Cove Loop. We were not prepared for the traffic in Gatlinburg. It is brutal. Pigeon Forge was more manageable. If looking for less touristy overkill try the Wears Valley area for a day trip.

We overall had a great stay and it was easy to check in and out as well as to find once we found it the first time the GPS took us to the wrong place. The house was great and clean. If traveling with children recommend bringing more trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels but otherwise great find and stay!
