Park / Sleeps 6

THE CABIN
Soaring A-frame tongue-and-groove cathedral ceilings welcome you as you enter the main living space off the covered deck. Large floor-to-ceiling wall of windows overlooking the views allows the natural light to pour in and the magnificent views looking out. Long-range, multi-layered mountain views are certainly the show-piece here! The Smoky Mountains are ever changing, the sunlight casting a wide spectrum of colors and shadows across the mountains and clouds, giving a different look to the view all throughout the day.

The fully-equipped kitchen, dining room and main living spaces all flow together for a roomy, light and open floor plan. Big 60” LED TV for viewing your favorite shows/movies on the reclining leather sofas. The stone, gas-log fireplace is perfect for gathering around during those cooler months. Sit around the dining room table as a family and admire the mountain views out the windows as you enjoy your meals. Or, dine outside on the deck!

Back out onto the expanded deck, you’ll find ample outdoor living space to soak in those “wow” views! Speaking of soak, an o-so-relaxing four-seater Hot Tub (w/ waterfall feature) awaits to melt away all your cares in the world after a long-day of outdoor adventures. An outdoor firepit is also the perfect place to roast those smores and enjoy the outdoors! A gas grill is also provided for those master chefs!

Back inside, on the main level past the kitchen you’ll find your full sized washer and dryer, full size bathroom (with Jacuzzi tub), along with the main level King-bed Primary Bedroom (equipped with it’s own TV/DVD player). Upstairs, you’ll find a roomy loft bedroom with two twin beds and a queen bed with its own en-suite bathroom. Perfect space for the kids or extra guests, allowing this cabin to sleep up to 6 guests comfortably.

THE SURROUNDINGS
The cabin sits at an elevation of nearly 3,000 feet, allowing for those cool mountain breezes even in warmer weather months. The road to the cabin is completely paved and pretty well maintained. Moderate inclines, a couple quick curves, but nothing overly steep. 2WD vehicles just fine. For those not accustom to mountain driving, probably best to try and arrive during daylight hours on your check-in day. In the winter months when there is heavy ice or snow, that would make the drive tricky so would suggest waiting until the ice/snow melts off (which here usually doesn’t take long)

The parking area outside the cabin is completely level and can easily accommodate up to 3 vehicles, if needed.

NEIGHBORING CABINS
Cabin is located in a small Gated & Private Upscale Cabin Community in Bryson City. There is an adjoining cabin next door to this cabin. Two separate cabins, just happened to be built side-by-side to one another. Complete privacy and seclusion otherwise, as you can't see the neighbors (only the views!)

THE LOCATION
Cabin is a short 10 minute drive from downtown Bryson City, 15 minutes from the Deep Creek entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and 20 minutes or so from Cherokee and the Park main entrance. Nantahala National Forest and Lake Fontana are both roughly a 20 minute drive. Asheville NC (Biltmore Estate) and Gatlinburg TN are just over an hour’s drive away.

Local shops, restaurants, breweries/wineries, boating/fishing the area rivers or on Lake Fontana, hikes/waterfalls, river rafting/tubing, golfing, horseback riding, ATV trails, zip lining – all within half an hour. An outdoor lover’s paradise! The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad runs out of Bryson City and is a wonderful, scenic keepsake experience.

Close to so many other attractions and day trips, happy to provide more upon request.

Visit greatsmokies.com for more great information on the local area!

TV / WIFI / Cell service
Yes, there is satellite TV available. WIFI/Basic Internet is also provided and available. Cell service is typically strong at the location of the cabin, so most guests shouldn’t have an issue making calls/internet using their own devices, if desired. Or, unplug from it all (we recommend this approach best)!

SMOKING
Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the cabin. A $500 charge will be billed for any evidence or odor of smoking inside the cabin. If you do smoke, please use approved outdoor waste bins, do not toss over railing. We thank our guests for adhering to this policy for the enjoyment of all our guests.

Arrival information along with our stay policies will be sent to each guest approximately one week before their arrival date.

Three of us traveled to Bryson city for our annual train ride and we chose this place because of the hot tub and the view from it and it did not let us down.

Property is exactly as described and pictured. Location is great as it’s quick to get to Bryson City and NOC. The views are spectacular, the hot tub is fantastic, and the house is comfy. The owners responded immediately to our messages. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We went up MLK weekend. It was the perfect get away. It was close to downtown Bryson city and not far from Cherokee and the Smokey Mountains. The drive up was pretty steep but we made it in our Toyota Highlander. The house is a duplex but we never heard the people Nextdoor. It snowed while we were there. My kids loved the hot-tub watching the snow. On check out the road was covered in snow and ice. Getting down the mountain was a little scary with the snow and ice but the roads were salted. Would stay here again!

This property was extremely clean and organized. It really had everything you would need (kitchen wise) without being cluttered. Towels and wash clothes were provided as well as little toiletries in case you forgot yours. The kids and I found the soft beds to be extremely comfortable, my husband did not, but to each theiru own. The view was breathtaking and well worth the steep narrow drive up. The TV in the bedroom wouldn’t work but that very well could have been user error. There is another house attached to this house, with the exception of being on the porch at the same time you really don’t notice. (There is a divider between the 2 households). Had a couple of questions for the owner and they were extremely easy to get in touch with!

We had a wonderful stay on the property. The owners and property manager were very attentive. The house was beautiful and clean. My kids enjoyed the loft and I enjoyed the jacuzzi. The drive up the hill is a bit scary (but normal for that area). I would definitely stay here again.

I have been staying in this area frequently since 2019 and I was pretty disappointed by this rental. The property definitely wasn't as clean and nice on the outside as pictured. The deck had black mold spores all over it and was unusable! The jacuzzi was dirty (which the maintenance guy had told us would be from sediment from the well water but would filter out), but there was hair, bugs and cob webs in it as well. Upon arrival, high touch surfaces like coffee table (had a huge fake nail sitting on top of it), dining table and night stands were dirty, and I had to wipe them down. The silverware and plates still had food on them, and I had to clean all the dishes. The water went out on our 4th night and we couldnt shower, ect after being outdoors all day. It was fixed overnight, but the next morning, the toilet was filled with a layer from the sediment, which made me question the water safety. There was a non-disclosed camera in the tree overlooking the fire pit and could probably see the deck as well. I will say that the view and fire pit was very nice! The linens and bathrooms were clean. And the host was very nice and responsive. But, considering the price compared to what I've paid for in the area for other rentals in the past few years, which had just as nice or better views, and were much cleaner, I wouldn't stay here again.

We had a peaceful and enjoyable week at Soaring Sights. The cabin was so comfortable and clean. Our family loved the reclining couch! We each had our own. The view of the mountains was amazing. We took the opportunity to wake up early to watch the morning fog over the mountains from the deck or hot tub and loved star gazing from the fire pit. It was hard to leave.

This house had it all… amazing views, responsive and considerate hosts, and everything we could have wanted while we were there, from the most well-stocked kitchen of any rental we’ve stayed in (which is such a great perk for us because we cook a lot) to a cabinet of kids toys and games that kept our toddler entertained. Everything we wanted to do was a quick drive away. Highly recommend and I hope we can return sometime!
