COME VACATION IN PARADISE VALLEY, THE GATEWAY TO YELLOWSTONE! Don't just dream it ... do it!
This is your home while in Paradise. Relax, enjoy and stay awhile. Return to this comfortable, cozy getaway after a wonderful day touring Yellowstone National Park. Tour the park, hike the trails, photograph the wildlife, wade the stream, barbecue your dinner, or simply relax and let the scenery take your breath away!
This cabin is the perfect find for location, relaxation, and magnificent views for a great price! Our little slice of Paradise is perfect for a relaxing and fun-filled vacation you are sure to remember for years to come. Grab your camera and a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, step outside this cozy Getaway and enjoy the majestic views. Search for any of the many animals that frequent this Paradise Valley gem! Sit on the bench by the creek and listen to the rippling of the clear water as you watch a stunning sunset. This cozy and unique rental attracts honeymooners each year because they love the quiet, privacy of this secluded cabin, as well as the super cozy atmosphere inside.

Emigrant Peak's 10,915 feet of beauty is framed by the window in the den. It rises in the distance and provides the perfect setting for a stunning sunset with a fantastic view of the mountains. Eight Mile Creek runs through the property attracts bald eagles and osprey as they hunt the creek for fish. Once you settle in, take a stroll to the creek and dip your feet in or sit and read to the music of rippling water. Children love to play in the cool refreshing water in late summer. You can oftentimes see pronghorn antelope grazing on the bluffs across the road and mule and whitetail deer frequent the property year round.

A private, sheltered barbecue and outdoor dining area give you views of the mountains surrounding the property where you can share memories of the day's events or enjoy the amazing night sky. A welcoming fire pit provides the perfect setting for reminiscing about the day's activities. We have had many travelers who have told us what a find this place was, not only for the location but for the price. One couple even called it a 'diamond in the rough.'

Mountain View Getaway is centrally located in Paradise Valley, just one mile from the Yellowstone River, famed for fly fishing and scenic and whitewater rafting just minutes away in Gardiner, Montana. Horseback riding can easily be arranged at nearby ranches. There are many hiking trails in the valley as well as in the park. This superb location is 30 miles north of Yellowstone National Park, 20 miles south of the quaint little town of Livingston, and two miles north of the historic town of Emigrant, Montana. It is also 10 minutes from Chico Hot Springs Resort, The Old Saloon (known for summer concerts), Sage Lodge with its stunning views, the Outpost for a casual quick meal, Follow Yer Nose BBQ, all outstanding restaurants. Music Mountain, another popular music venue, is 15 minutes away as well.

The rental is on the second floor of a decorative barn, which never housed animals. It is located on Old Yellowstone Trail North, which was originally cited as a buffalo trail, then Trail Creek Road, and then under the current name because it served as the stagecoach trail to Yellowstone National Park after the park opened and before a railroad spur was built to the park.

Emigrant Peak is framed by the living room window where you can sit and relax after an adventurous day in nearby Yellowstone National Park. The cabin's theme is wildlife: moose, deer, bighorn sheep and bison adorn the walls and linens. The large private bedroom has a queen-sized bed and huge closet with washer and dryer, and the living room couch easily folds out into a comfy queen-sized sleeper. The full kitchen and bath have everything you need to make your stay feel just like home. Most guests enjoy the cozy feel of the cabin and extra special personal touches provided by the owners who will do everything possible to please their guests! You won't be disappointed.

The biggest attraction, Yellowstone National Park, is a beautiful 34-mile drive from the cabin. The drive south down Highway 89 places you at Roosevelt Arch, the northwest entrance into Yellowstone National Park. While traveling, you will likely see more wildlife not to mention the majestic peaks of the Absaroka/Beartooth mountain range to the east and the Gallatin range to the west.

Within 5 miles of the cabin is Chico Hot Springs, which is a year-round resort with two hot springs pools, an exquisite dining room and a family friendly grille. At night, the Old Saloon hosts various local bands featuring a mixture of genre to satisfy your musical choice. The Yellowstone River, a short mile away, boasts some of the best fishing for rainbow trout. Or, if you like, you can float the river! The mountains in Paradise Valley have numerous hiking trails -- but don't forget your bear spray! Paradise Valley offers many adventures and Mountain View Getaway is located right in the middle of all it has to offer. Adventure in Paradise awaits!

Apartment is immaculate and private. Stairs up could be an issue for some folks-its above a barn. Host is right on property but does not approach the rental. Views from rental are stunning. Only issue-I msg'd thru VRBO how to check in & host only said I would get instructions from Expedia-never did. Day of arrival GPS took us down a very pot holed dirt road-msg'd host we were lost & no reply for an hour. Finally pulled cell # off rental agreement. Husband directed us down another road. Host should always send a quick msg to NOT USE PRIVATE DIRT ROAD.

This cabin not only has fabulous views of the mountain range, but is a delightful place to hang out after a day of adventures. It is very clean, decorated nicely, comfortable bed, and has a cozy feel to it and is stocked with everything you need. The owners live on the property not far from the cabin but they are very respectful of your privacy. In fact, it was an advantage because I was able to get more insight about things to do and places to go from Melody which was very helpful. Check out the BBQ place and the bakery in Emigrant, Chico Hot Springs for a day as a guest to soak in the hot springs after a day of hiking, and of course it’s not to far of a drive to Y Stone North entrance by way of Gardiner.
