We have 4 more cabins in the same complex are next to each other, if you have big group please let us know. 9we have 5 cabins in this complex

 If you are travelling in large groups and need more than 1 cabin you came to the right place! :)
We will have 4 more cabins on the same lot very soon!  
Each cabin is 1 bedroom with 1 bath! 4 guests max occupancy at each cabin.

The 4th cabin is with 1 bedroom plus loft !:) - 4 people can fit in this cabin.
Overall, we can accommodate up to 16 people in all 5 cabins. Send us a message and we will get back to you with more information.

Nestled on four acres of private forest, “Bear With Us” cabin features a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains, as well as the streams and diverse flora and fauna. And you are still mere minutes away from 21st-century conveniences, like Walmart, Harrah’s Cherokee casino and local artisans’ shops.

In the cabin, you will find all stainless steel appliances, flat screen TV, Blu-ray/DVD player. (The TV can only be used for playing DVDs). The log house features two bedrooms, and a shared bathroom with a tub. Every room has wooden walls and hardwood floors. In the kitchen is a full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster oven, electric oven, stove, microwave, crock pot, deep fryer, and lots of useful cooking utensils. The cabin perfectly accommodates small, family gatherings or romantic getaways. Disconnect yourself from the hectic world and savor the tranquility of nature.


Lovers of the great outdoors can spend their vacation hiking and exploring the cliffs, trails and surrounding wildlife. Go whitewater rafting, or fishing along the old logging roads by the house. When you return, the comforts of home will be waiting for you.

There is window AC in the living room and also Window AC in each of the bedrooms. 

Fire up the grill on the huge front porch as you look out over the splendid sylvan vistas. Spend a relaxing evening dining or sipping wine in front of the fireplace.


The place has an indoor fireplace in the living room.

The place accommodates 4 people (double occupancy, two bedrooms with queen size bed in each bedroom)  There is a couch in living room.  If you have more then 4 people and one is planning to crash on the couch, there is an additional fee of $45 per person per night.  Please contact me so we can arrange the payment.


Due to recent scam, please note reservation name must match the name of the credit card used.

Please note we do not provide propane. Occupancy is strictly enforced, failure to comply will forfeit your deposit.

**The road to the cabins, has been just recently REGRADED with special AND BONDING SOLUTION, however, we recommend using a 4 wheel drive. If you are planning to rent a car, We do suggest renting an SUV.
** Please note that we require a rental agreement with rules and instructions to be signed, and also we require a photo ID.

Guests will have private access to the whole cabin, and the property.

The neighborhood:
There is a Walmart in the town of Sylva a few miles east, as well as craft and antique shops in nearby Dillsboro. Headed west, near Franklin, you will find Harrah’s Cherokee casino. Visit a real gem mine, such as Mason’s, in the Cowee Valley. Try rafting in Nantahala, or take a drive over the mountain to Gaitlinburg and Pigeon Forge, where you can go horseback riding. You might want to go skiing in Cataloochee, depending on the season, of course! Just as you pass through downtown Sylva, on your right you will come to the market, where you can purchase freshly-laid eggs, as well as all kinds of fruits and vegetables and jams and jellies. For fine dining, try Ruth Chris Steak House at Harrah’s, the buffet at the casino, or a number of other good restaurants. 

You are in National Forest, surrounded by hiking trails and about 1 miles from Tuckasegee River

Waterfall - 25min away,
Groceries shops and restaurants are only 15 min drive away. Asheville - 1 hour rive.

Cameras are outside only.
Both cameras are facing entrances that are : 1st entrance is at lanai where the lock box for guests to check-in and that lanai also facing the public street. The Other camera monitors the other entrance.
