Stayed Aug 11, 2025We were in NW GA on business for two weeks. This cabin was perfectly situated between Ellijay and my office so very convenient to go back and forth. The cabin was well stocked and had every amenity that one would want. It was just off the highway, but it was peaceful. I have a 16-year-old small dog just I can't leave with anyone else, so the fenced yard was a bonus! The driveway was a little precarious, but once we used it a couple times, it was fine. We did have a visitor (a bear) while there who decided to plunder the trash, and although we never saw him/her, they created a mess, but we cleaned it up. Lesson learned; make sure trash is secured in the trash cans. (We tied the lid to make sure they couldn't do it again.) We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin and hope to return on a pleasure trip in the future. I would recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the mountains but want to stay at lower altitude for the sake of driving the easier highways.

Stayed Mar 9, 2024We booked an anniversary trip at the last minute and this was just what we were looking for! Not too far away so it was easy to get to but definitely had the feeling of being further out in the mountains. House was very clean and comfortable. Loved being able to take our dogs and have a fenced in yard for them. The bed was comfortable and we loved the sound machine so much that I’ve already ordered one for myself. Thanks for a great weekend!

Stayed Nov 20, 2023Best cabin i have stayed in so far. It was very nice and clean and the best for dogs with having a fenced in back yard and even had dog bowls and a place to keep the dog food. The entire family was very happy with our stay.

Stayed Sep 29, 2023Extremely clean and practical home. While I don't know the age of the property, it was provided as if it was brand new. Two spacious bedrooms/baths and an open and spacious common area for TV and lounging. Be sure to bring all of your minor incidentals with you (coffee, salt/pepper, etc.), which is always smart, though VRBOs sometimes are forgiving with various items other renters leave behind. As is often the case with properties a little off the beaten path, trust the renter's provided driving directions over your GPS. A relaxing stay that we would definitely repeat and recommend.

Stayed Jul 20, 2023The cabin was beautiful, we enjoyed our stay but the weather gave us a real challenge we arrived after driving thru thunder storms to find no power this was no reflection on the management or owners and around 2 am the power company got us back on line. Hopefully if we get to go back the weather will cooperate with us.
