Mountain Cinema Lodge | Hot Tub, Pool Table!

My family and I stayed this past weekend at this cabin. The cabin is located in a central area close to Pigeon Forge and about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg. The cabin was very spacious, clean, and had just about everything that would be needed for your stay. The owner or customer service was very thorough on providing details on the cabin and answering questions. We did have an issue with water leaking from the HVAC unit, and we informed the owner. Overall, it was a nice stay.

We stayed 5 nights and had construction taking place all around our cabin. We didn’t have internet for 3 1/2 days had to call management every day regarding this. Come to find out the cable had been cut due to construction. So our Cinema cabin was pointless and never got the chance to even enjoy it! We will never rent any of these cabins or any from this management company.

We reported that the furnace in the lower level was not working and the temperature was 62 or less. The text reply said they would put in a work request but we did not receive any assistance while we were there so the 2 bedrooms and the movie studio was rather cool all weekend. I was also told that one of the bathrooms on the second floor was making noises whenever any bathroom flushed or ran water; possibly a drain issue backing up so I suggest it be checked out Nice large cabin, however, I was surprised that a cabin designed to host 16 people only listed 2 parking spots.

Location to town was great. Floors could use a deep clean. No view from this unit of the mountains though. Beds were comfortable and process was simple.

The house was clean and very spacious. There were a few little things that were reported and they reponded right away. The communication was excellent!

The cabin was beautiful and was perfect for our group of 14. Our first night the furnace leaked and soaked the basement carpet/cinema area corner. We had a handle missing on our bedroom dresser,, and a post had been kicked out on one of the basement balcony & was laying below the house along the road. Our second day it stormed and washed away the corner of one of our 2 parking spaces making it unusable. I reported these issues and got prompt replys and solutions. As the week went on I found wear & tear throughout the cabin. The microwave door was cracked as was the tile floor. The couches on the 2nd floor were torn & the stuffing was coming out. The second floor also gets VERY hot during the day. Keep your bedroom doors closed & your bathroom doors open to keep the rooms cooler. There are smart TV's everywhere! Very nice Feature to end our long days.

When we arrived at 9:30 pm with our 3 kids, spouses and 5 grandchildren under 12 years old, the code given to the door would not work. We contacted the property manager as instructed and after 2 hours of no response, we found an open window and put our 8 year old granddaughter into the house to unlock the front door. The property manger kept referring to rhis as an inconvenience and said they would get it fixed in the morning. We couldn’t leave until we could lock the door. Finally after waiting for word it was resolved, we tested the code and it worked. Poor communication from the property manager. Also there were no paper towels and some of the bathrooms had no toilet paper. Also there were no pot holders to get things out of the oven. Also were no baking sheets. There were several cracked tiles in the kitchen/dining area that had very sharp edges. We had to move a rug over to cover them so the little ones would not hurt themselves. Would not stay here again. Should be compensated for the “inconvenience” of waiting outside for 2 hours to get in the house.

We had a great time in this house, it is huge and spacious. Response was quick. The floors were a little dusty and the host provided only 2 dishwashing pods for a 3 night stay and still wanted us to leave dishes in the dishwasher running. I had to buy extra dishwasher soap.
