Mountain Cabin With Cool Temperatures, Great Views, And Modern Furnishings.

This rental had everything inside we could possibly need for our stay including anything you’d need in the kitchen, grilling tools, even tin foil and ziploc baggies (which we found useful) shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair curling iron, hair straightener, lots of blankets, pillows, towels, cleaning supplies, washer, dryer, laundry detergent. There is a lot for an entire family to do: pool table, darts, tether ball, tire swing, all on a large private property with lots of trees and room to explore. Plenty of room for cars to park. We especially loved the cows that wander through the property!! Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. The owner was very helpful and informative about the property and things to do in the area, which we appreciated. Definitely plan to book another stay here in the Fall.

Beautiful home, with tons of natural light and views of the surrounding pines and mountain rim. We felt so comfortable in BJs cabin, and he was extremely responsive and offered so many suggestions for local hikes upon my request. The meadery within walking distance was a big perk, and Washington Park trail just 10 minutes from the house was beautiful, as well as water wheel only 15 minutes from the cabin. The kitchen had everything you would need (I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s that claim to have well stocked kitchens, but this is one of the first that actually was) and the pool table, darts and plethora of games made our stay with kids that much better!

Second time we have stayed at this beautiful cabin! We have now added a cabin in the woods to our wish list because we love now amazing it feels while staying at this beautiful property!

This cabin is secluded in the beautiful pine mountains just 20 mins from downtown Payson. It was the perfect weekend getaway for my family and friends.

I would have given this rental 5 stars, but the only rooms with blinds were the bedrooms. The master bathroom had three full-length windows in the shower with no privacy. The room with the pool table was a little tight, but it was still fun. The yard was great with trees everywhere. It was within minutes of a creek. The kitchen had many basic items stocked. There was basic cleaning done, but there were quite a few cobwebs. The host did a wonderful job communicating everything in a timely manner. The wifi worked well.

We really liked this cabin. It was spacious, secluded, and peaceful. The only drawback was the cabin was hot the first afternoon, but BJ quickly helped us get that figured out and had no issues the rest of our stay. He was super responsive and helpful. We are already talking about coming back to this cabin...
