Cody, Wyoming
Take a ride along the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway and end up at this 3-bedroom log cabin located near Crandall Creek, Wyoming nestled within the breathtaking Beartooth Mountains. This family cabin has all of the conveniences of home: full bathroom, well appointed kitchen, and washer and dryer. Gather around the fire pit after a day of fishing, atv riding or touring Yellowstone. Come in the winter and curl up by the fire with a great book or a movie. This is a great home base for snow mobile trips to Cooke City or a quiet day on the trails cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Bookings between October and April require a minimum 6 night stay.
Great opportunities for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, hunting, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and snow-shoeing. There are falls and lakes close by and Clark's Fork River is 100 yards from the cabin. *There is no direct river access from the property. There are other accesses around the area.**No Wifi at the cabin. Landline phone at cabin as there is no cellular phone service.
Unbelievably beautiful cabin, property and area. Full of detail in every aspect. Very comfortable inside and out and permanent residents are friendly. Quiet and off the road enough to feel close to nature.
The cabin was awesome! It was very comfortable and cozy. Very clean and fresh. The area outside afforded a great play area for the children. It was a great experience for all of us and we will be back someday.
Cleanest property I have ever stayed in.
Beautiful view from deck Nice river Clark’s Fork Close to Bear Tooth hwy
This cabin was easy to find and had everything we could ask for on our little trip. I would stay in this cabin again or one of their other properties. We were able to quickly get to our activities like hiking, fishing, and mountain goat watching. The cabin even provided our own animal watching with hummingbirds, chipmunks, and deer. A wonderful place to be!
This is very homely cabin, situated in a very quiet location not far from Cooke City and Beartooth Highway. Because of the problems of flooding in Yellowstone we could not visit the Park as planned, but in spite of this we had a very enjoyable three-night stay. So many little features in the cabin made it feel like a home from home. Thank you to all concerned.
The cabin had a great view was very clean and was so much better than what the pictures showed online. Will definitely stay here again!
The pictures do not do justice for this property. The home and yard is beautiful. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make meals. We used this for our home base for visiting Yellowstone with the road closure between Tower-Roosevelt and Canyon Village and the 45 mph speed limit we were about 4 hours from Old Faithful. So be sure to plan for a long day if you will be visiting there. The cabin sits in the Big Horn Mountains. Amazing views at the cabin and in every direction you go. Would definitely stay here again.
This was the perfect location for us to land during our trip. Easy access to the Northeast entrance of Yellowstone and to Cody to enjoy the rodeo. The property was clean and comfortable. The night sky view was amazing!
Beautiful property and views only 30min from yellowstone
Great cabin with lots of room and extras provided by owner. Owner provide DVD’s to watch for down time, no local or satellite TV service. Beautiful scenery and close to Yellowstone. Very isolated, no cell or WiFi services for miles. Be prepared. Closest town does not have cell service. Bring plenty of bug spray. Check in was confusing- it would have helped to include that each cabin was numbered and what number was our cabin. We were told it was on the right. Not specific enough and keys did not work will all the locks. We checked in after office hours and had no way of contacting anyone for help.
